Patents Assigned to Kamax-Werke Rudolf Kellerman GmbH & Co. KG
  • Patent number: 6971662
Abstract: A towing device (1) for motor vehicles includes an elongated element (2) having a length, a cross section, a first end portion (13) and a second end portion (5). The cross section of the elongated element (2) at least along a part of the length of the elongated element (2) is designed to be hollow. The first end portion (13) is designed to be connected to a motor vehicle. The towing device (1) further includes a lug (3) being connected to the second end portion (5) of the elongated element (2). Due to the hollow cross section, the mass of the towing device (1) is substantially reduced.

  • Patent number: 6935822
Abstract: A detachable fastener includes a screw element and a securing ring. The screw element and the securing ring each include cooperating wedge-shaped surface tooth arrangements and two different pairs of stop surfaces. The wedge-shaped surface tooth arrangements face one another and form sliding surfaces sliding upon one another in a loosening direction of rotation resulting in an increase of the axial force. The first pair of stop surfaces transmits torque in a tightening direction of rotation. The second pair of stop surfaces transmits torque in a loosening direction of rotation. The stop surfaces are arranged with a clearance existing between one another such that the wedge-shaped surface tooth arrangements can slide upon one another without skipping.

  • Patent number: 6685409
Abstract: A connecting element includes a screw including a head and a shank. The shank has an end, and it includes a shank portion, a threaded portion and a stop element. The threaded portion has an outer diameter, and it includes a thread runout facing the head. The thread runout has an axial extension and a circumference. The shank portion has a diameter which is less than the outer diameter of the threaded portion. The stop element is produced by removing the thread runout at least over a part of the axial extension and of the circumference of the thread runout in a way that the stop element has a diameter which approximately corresponds to the outer diameter of the threaded portion. The connecting element also includes a supporting element being captively connected to the screw and including a narrowing location having a diameter which is less than the outer diameter of the threaded portion.

  • Patent number: 5462395
Abstract: A sound decoupling connecting element (1) for two parts (27, 28) with a gasket (29) inserted inbetween has a screw (2) with a head (4) and a shaft (8) with a threaded section (10, 11) and a radially extending support area (14) resting on a counter surface in the end-mounted position. The connecting element (1) has a sound decoupling sleeve-like formed body 3 made of an elastomer material. The formed body (3) has limited axial movement on the screw (2) in the mounted state of the connecting element (1), but is held in an unlosable fashion. The formed body (3) has such an axial length that it protrudes the first part (27) with a continuation (19) in the direction of the gasket (29) in the state of being inserted in the first part (27). The continuation (19) of the formed body (3) has a recess (20) for taking up in an unlosable fashion the gasket (29).
