    Abstract: Disclosed is an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve for a vehicle which achieves regulation of the flow rate of exhaust gas introduced into an engine and the flow rate of fresh air. The EGR valve includes a fresh air flow channel, an EGR flow channel connected to the fresh air flow channel and a valve unit configured to open or close the EGR flow channel and to selectively block the fresh air flow channel according to an opened/closed state of the EGR flow channel. The valve unit includes a first valve to open or close the EGR flow channel and a second valve arranged at one side of the first valve at a different angle from an arrangement angle of the first valve. The second valve is moved along with the first valve to selectively interfere with a flow stream of fresh air in the fresh air flow channel.

The power transmission unit includes gears, a rotary shaft connected to one of the gears constituting the power transmission unit, an actuating cam connected to the rotary shaft to move in a rotational direction thereof, the actuating cam having a guide groove formed therein, and a valve member operatively connected to the actuating cam to selectively open and close an exhaust gas flow channel in the housing according to operation of the actuating cam.
