  • Patent number: 11305325
Abstract: A processing method for a metal plate includes a curve surface forming recess forming step, a protruding step, and a shaping and dividing step. In the curve surface forming recess forming step, a recess is formed in the metal plate, the recess having an outer periphery forming a curve surface, a side portion formed in a frustum, and a bottom portion being round. In the protruding step, a portion of the recess from the bottom portion to the side portion is protruded toward an inside of the recess, and the side portion of the recess is formed to be close to a center of the recess. In the shaping and dividing step, the protruded portion and the outer periphery of the recess are shaped so that the recess is divided into a group of the plural recess portions adjacent to each other.

  • Patent number: 8087169
Abstract: A sheet metal-made cup-shaped material including a circular base plate portion and a cylindrical portion extends from an outer peripheral edge portion of the base plate portion in one direction along the axis of the base plate portion. An annular groove is formed in an upper end portion of the cylindrical portion, whereby an annular projection that projects in a direction opposite to a direction along which the cylindrical portion extends is formed in the cylindrical portion. The annular projection and the cylindrical portion are clampingly pressed to a degree at which the annular groove at least disappears, whereby the outer circumferential face of the projection and the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical portion are flush with each other. Therefore, the axial length of a sheet metal-made back face pulley is increased, and the whole of the increased axial length can be used as the effective length.

  • Patent number: 7849724
Abstract: The outer side of a pair of curved parts 3d of a longitudinal annular blank is pressed and energized towards the curved part 3d of the opponent side with a molding outer die 14 of a shaping device 13 to press and widen each curved part 3d to a large curved part of large curvature radius, and a half-finished article 17 is molded, and thereafter, the half-finished article 17 is pressed and widened by cooperative operation of a finishing inner die of the shaping device and a window part of a perfect circle functioning as an outer die to manufacture a ring-shaped member. Therefore, a yield rate or a percentage of the weight of the ring-shaped member with respect to the weight of the raw material and the yield rate or the percentage of the ring-shaped member with respect to the blank can be improved, and the cost can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7047787
Abstract: An annular excess portion is disposed, a spline forming male mold is passed through a boss of a sheet metal-made rotary member in which a root portion of the boss and a peripheral portion are previously displaced, and the boss is set to a stationary mold with being fitted into a boss fitting hole of a rotary member holding mold. Thereafter, the annular excess portion is clamped between a pressing mold and the stationary mold to be deformed into a flat shape, and the root portion of the boss is squeezed into spline forming grooves to be plastically deformed, thereby forming a boss spline. According to the configuration, increase in thickness os a sheet metal blank is avoided, the strength of the boss is ensured, and weight reduction is achieved. The production efficiency can be remarkably improved, and cutting chips are eliminated, so that adverse influence on the working environment can be avoided.
