    Abstract: A novel tamper-evident closure assembly for a container, such as a bottle, which can incorporate one or more tamper indicators that are severed from the closure assembly when the cap is removed. The tamper indicator can be shaped as a disk or any other distinct shape, such as in the form of a proprietary mark. Additionally, a proprietary mark, such as a trademark, can be placed on the visible surface of the tamper indicator.
