Abstract: An automatic pull-in mechanism for drawer guides consists of a guide rail and a runner rail, which are made longitudinally displaceable relative to one another by rolling bodies. On the guide rail there is disposed a component that can toggle between two end positions and is biased bistably toward the toggle end positions by a spring system, and has an open-ended slot for a projection projecting downward from the runner rail. The projection and the toggling component are so disposed relative to one another that upon a displacement of the runner rail from the drawer-open position to the drawer-closed position, as the projection approaches the latter it enters into the slot and then, after passing over the dead center of the toggling component, it is carried resiliently by the slot into the drawer-closed position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a preferably hollow metal stock for drawer sides, especially drawer sides, and to a method for the production of such hollow stock. The hollow material has a hollow space which is foam-filled, to improve the properties of the action of a drawer made from the stock by reducing the noise that occurs when a drawer is opened and closed. The strength of the stock is also improved and as is a drawer made from the stock.

Abstract: Single-joint hinge (10) for the pivotable attachment of a door element (12), which comes to rest against a cabinet body, with a hinge (16), which is visible in the closed position of the door element and the door element contact part (20) of which has a press-in pot (38), which can be inserted into a recess (36) machined in the edge region in the back of the door element (12), breaking through to the adjacent edge border of the door element, and in which an offset joint component (sliding piece 44), which can be inserted from the edge border parallel to the flat sides of the door element, is attached and which carries the part of the hinge that is assigned to the door element, in the form of a bearing link (54) accommodating the hinge pin, at the end of a projection (52) that is bent at right angles and is extended to the outside of the door element (12).

Abstract: Corner fastener for the inside end of the runner rail of drawer guides. The corner fastener can be attached to the drawer where the drawer back and drawer side meet, and has clips projecting downward below the drawer bottom to snap onto the associated end of the runner rail. The fastener has a surface which can be laid flat against the drawer back, and it has a flange projecting at right angles between the end face of the drawer back and the confronting area of the drawer side. The flange is provided with means for fastening both to the end face of the drawer back and to the confronting area of the drawer side. These fastening means are constituted for example by studs which can be pressed into associated bores in the end face of the drawer back and in the drawer side.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a mounting plate (30) for an adjustable mounting of a hinge supporting arm on a cabinet. The mounting plate is made by punching and pressing operations from sheet metal, of a U-shaped cross section at least in an upper section facing the supporting arm to be mounted thereon. The mounting plate has in its cabinet-interior end area a threaded bore for a screw (38) locking the hinge supporting arm, plus an open-ended longitudinal slot (39) at its end pointing out of the cabinet interior. Along the margins of the web (52) of the mounting plate (30), which laterally define the slot, ridges are raised from the plane of the web (52), and the distance measured from one flat side of the undeformed web to the opposite boundary surface of the upturned ridges is greater than the material thickness of the web (52) in the undeformed area.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hinge housing in the form of a cup which can be sunk in a mortise in the back of the door of a piece of furniture and which has a cup portion made of metal from whose upper margin a mounting flange projects integrally in the position properly mounted on a door and overlaps areas of the inside of the door adjoining the mortise in the door, and whose margin is curved toward the inside of the door, so that in the mounting flange there is formed a shallow recess open on the inside of the door, and having a socket plate of plastic disposed between the mounting flange and the inside of the door, which can be releasably joined to the mounting flange and the door.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a hinge for hanging a door on the carcase of a piece of furniture having an open front which is narrowed by projecting face frame stiles. The supporting arm of the hinge can be snapped onto or removed from a mounting plate which can be fastened onto the edge of the frame stile.

Abstract: Drawer side wall of metal having a web forming the vertical side of the drawer, from whose bottom and top horizontal margin a bottom flange and a top flange respectively project, as a support for the drawer bottom on the one hand and for the stiffening of the drawer side on the other. On the side of the web wall lying opposite the bottom flange an open-bottomed channel is provided in its bottom area for the concealed accommodation of the runner of a drawer guide. The drawer side is made from at least two members bent from sheet metal, the one including the upper part of the web and the upper flange and the other member including the lower part of the web and the bottom flange holding the drawer bottom. The members are superimposed on one another along a narrow strip and fastened together.

Abstract: Hardware device for fastening the front facing of a drawer to its sides, having a mounting member which can be attached to the front facing, and a coupling arm which can be joined releasably to the mounting member and can be fastened adjustably to or in the corresponding drawer side. The mounting member has a tongue protruding essentially at right angles from the inside face of the front facing, while the coupling piece, configured as an elongated, flat coupling arm extending with its flat sides substantially parallel to the corresponding drawer side has a recess with an opening in its end confronting the front facing, into which opening the tongue can be inserted. In the recess on the one hand, and on the tongue on the other, cooperating releasable fastening means are provided which selectively join the tongue to the coupling arm.

Abstract: A crosslink hinge for hanging a door on a cabinet has two crosslink arms attached in the middle in a scissors-like manner. One end of one of the crosslink arms is coupled directly to the cabinet-related part of the hinge, which can be fastened on a mounting plate to the cabinet, and one end of the other crosslink arm is coupled directly to the door-related part which is a cup which can be set in a mortise in the door, and at the other end they are coupled indirectly each by a link to the other part of the hinge. The crosslink arm that is directly pivoted at one end on the door-related hinge part is formed by two flanges disposed parallel to one another at a distance apart and joined together at least section-wise by a web to form a channel shape. The hinge furthermore contains a closing mechanism urging it resiliently into the closed position.

Abstract: The invention relates to a carcase-related part of a cabinet hinge, which is an elongated, channel-shaped supporting arm, releasably fastened on the mounting plate by a catch mechanism. The catch mechanism has at the outer end of the mounting plate and supporting arm, a hanger device enabling the supporting arm to tilt relative to the mounting plate. At the inner end of the supporting arm where it straddles the mounting plate, two tongues are provided which can be flexed resiliently parallel to the cabinet wall surface. Each tongue bears a latch section which can be engaged in an associated catch in the mounting plate. The hanger coupling of the supporting arm and mounting plate has an at least partially spherical holding head which is introduced into a slot conforming approximately to the shape of the holding head.

Abstract: System for fastening the inside, rear end of the track of a guide for drawers and the like, inside of a cabinet at a distance from the inside surface of the associated side wall of the cabinet. A tongue is bent from the inside end of the track at right angles to the length of the track. The tongue is associated with a fitting which can be fastened inside of the cabinet and into which the tongue can be fitted horizontally and in which the tongue can be set by detents at selected locations.

Abstract: A wheel (10) for rolling drawer guides in furniture construction. A wheel body journaled on a wheel shaft and made from a hard plastic of good stability of shape has a circumferential, groove-like gap opening into the wheel rim, and in it there is disposed a tire of resiliently deformable material, preferably elastomeric plastic, protruding slightly above the rim surface of the wheel body. In at least one of the confronting side surfaces and/or in the circumferential bottom surface of the groove-like gap there is provided at least one, preferably a plurality of indentations in which the material of the tire, converted to fluid from and then to the resiliently deformable state, interlockingly engages. From one of the outer faces of the walls at least one injection hole extends into the groove-like gap.
