Abstract: A mincing machine for mincing a product, in particular for mincing meat, includes at least one stationary hole plate and at least one rotating hole plate which interact to mince the product. The mincing machine has a rotating cutter head mounted on a shaft wherein said cutter head is arranged upstream of the interacting hole plates in the conveying direction of the product to be minced in order to interact with a stationary hole plate to mince the product.

Abstract: A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a conveyor screw of a screw conveyor, includes: a slide-like basic body for resting on at least two screw flights of the conveyor screw in order to displace the slide-like basic body in the axial direction by means of a rotational movement of the conveyor screw, and a cleaning device which is attached to the slide-like basic body, for cleaning the conveyor screw. The apparatus also relates to a screw conveyor and to a method for cleaning a conveyor screw of a screw conveyor.

Abstract: A comminuting machine for comminuting meat and the like and especially for material which has been previously cut into small pieces. The comminuting machine includes at least one cutting unit. A feed pump is arranged in front of the inlet of the comminuting machine and a vacuum suction device is connected to the interior of the feed pump. A separating device for solid objects, especially a separating device for ferromagnetic objects including at least one electromagnet, is mounted between the feed pump and the comminuting machine.

Abstract: A cutting unit for a comminuting machine, particularly for meat. The cutting unit includes a perforated disk and a drivable cutting knife body with cutting edges which interact with the perforated disk. The cutting knife body has additional cutting edges which extend approximately in radial direction. The additional cutting edges interact with approximately radially extending counter-cutting edges of the machine housing. The additional cutting edges may be provided in the form of grooves on the free ends of arms of a star-shaped cutting knife body. The counter-cutting edges may be provided on a housing ring which can be easily replaced and repaired. The additional cutting edges and the counter-cutting edges do not contact each other. The cutting edges preferably extend parallel to each other and are located on an imaginary outer truncated cone-shaped generated surface of the cutting knife body and an inner truncated cone-shaped surface of the machine housing.

Abstract: A pump, particularly, for pasteous masses, includes a rotatable outer wheel provided with a plurality of inner teeth, a pinion rotatable inside the outer wheel eccentrically thereto and having a plurality of outer teeth, the outer wheel and the pinion forming an intermediate space therebetween, a pressure seqment located in the intermediate space between the outer wheel and the pinion, an inlet and an outlet which are offset relative one another in direction of rotation, and a filling device connected with the inlet, the filling device including a filling container and a feeding element arranged in the filling container and having a feeding direction so as to feed a mass toward the inlet.

Abstract: A meat comminuting machine has a cutting unit which includes at least one stationary perforated plate and a mobile associated cutter head arranged on a driving shaft, which is driven by a driving motor, and a device for an axial displacement of the driving shaft which supports the cutter head in dependence of the loading of the driving motor.

Abstract: To achieve automatic removal of a sausage link string 6 from a feeding device 3, 4 and to attain a delivery to curing rods 11, hooks 7 are supported at a revolving moving chain 8 to be rotatable in their longitudinal axis and to be pivotable transversely to the chain longitudinal direction. By means of appropriate control devices in the form of a rotary lever 18 which coacts with a control edge 20 and a disk 23, and a block-shaped guide link 19, which rests upon a guide rail 21, the hook 7 is moved into its different positions. Herein the hook 7 is in its lowermost pivoting position during reception of the individual loops of the sausage link string 6, and the bent-over hook end 16 is oriented towards the front in conveyance direction and grips a loop from beneath.

Abstract: An apportioning apparatus, particularly for dispensing discrete metered quantities of comestible material, such as sausage meat, wherein a cutter is first moved parallel to a surface surrounding a nozzle outlet from which the comestible material is dispensed and wherein after cleanly cutting through the dispensed material emerging from the nozzle outlet, the cutter is advanced in a direction away from the nozzle outlet surface in order to effect a clean cutting process with the cutter then being returned to its initial position to commence a further cutting operation. The cutter is mounted to be driven and guided by an articulation mechanism which includes a power cylinder device and metering gear pumps operate to dispense the comestible material through one or a plurality of outlet nozzles at which the material is cut.

Abstract: In order to be able to fully automatically deposit a sausage strand (1) in turns on a smoking rod (2), the strand of sausages (5) reeled off a portioning device (4) with the aid of a rotating carrier finger (12) is first "wound up" on a feeder arm (14). This is done with the aid of a movable feeder device (18) of feeder arm (14), particularly and endless chain, and which in a preferred manner is provided with carrier teeth (22). During the retraction of the feeder arm (14) in the direction of arrow (25), the feeder device (18) is driven in the opposite direction. Thereby one turn after the other is transferred to the smoking rod (2) situated under the feeder arm (14). The smoking rod is situated on a rotating support (26), in which several smoking rods evenly arranged along the circumference can be exchanged with the aid of a delivery device (46), a transfer device (41) and a receiver ( 38). The removal of the loaded smoking rods is preferably done by hand.
