  • Publication number: 20250144479
Abstract: The invention described herein is an iron-type golf club head having a back cavity and a multi-section back cavity insert that preserves more strikeface flexibility and energy return to the golf ball. Additionally, the back cavity insert includes a damping member that mitigates undesirable vibrations produced after the golf club head impacts a golf ball. In some embodiments, the damping member includes an extension tip or arm that contacts an undercut of the golf club head.

  • Publication number: 20250144482
Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads comprising a club face with a variable thickness profile to increase face deflection and ball speed for a given CT are described herein. The variable thickness profile comprises a central region, the central transition, the hinge, the inner transition, and the hinge outer peak creating a variable face thickness with a topography that evokes the shape of a speaker woofer to produce non-linear bending, thereby producing greater strike face deflection and resulting ball speed for a given CT value. The variable face thickness profiles can further comprise a non-linear bending region comprising a first peak, a valley, and a second peak to non-linearly bend at other locations on the strike face thereby, producing greater strike face deflection and resulting ball speed for a given CT value.

  • Publication number: 20250128122
Abstract: A system includes a processor configured for leveraging reference ball flight data associated with an individual and a reference club having a reference loft angle to compute predicted ball flight characteristics for other candidate golf clubs having loft angles different from the reference loft angle. The predicted ball flight characteristics include predicted distances of golf shots the individual is expected to make using the candidate golf clubs that can further accommodate a computed recommendation of optimal loft angles for a consistently gapped golf club set.

  • Patent number: 12280301
Abstract: Embodiments of putter-type golf club head comprising a striking surface capable of achieving consistent ball speeds across the striking surface to account for various ball impact locations are described herein. The striking surface has at least two materials that differs in concentration away from the geometric center of the striking surface to provide this consistency. Consistent (or uniform) ball speed is achieved throughout the striking surface as the portion of the golf ball that contacts the striking surface interacts with at least two materials having a differing material characteristic.
