Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads with face deflection structures are described herein. Other examples and related methods are also disclosed herein. The golf club head described herein can have a deflector located adjacent a front end of the golf club head near a faceplate. The deflector can have front, heel, toe, and rear edges. The golf club head can also have a wave surface with a plurality of external wave troughs and crests. The plurality of external waves are surrounded by the deflector edges. In some embodiments, a forwardmost wave of the wave surface touches or extends to the heel and toe edges of the deflector. In other embodiments, a rearmost wave of the wave surface touches or extends to the heel and toe edges of the deflector.
