  • Publication number: 20220396409
Abstract: The present invention provides a highly mass-productive and versatile expansion sheet body, an expansible package, and packaging method. A plurality of cells 22 defined by cell seals 41 for joining overlapped films together are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other, and a fluid is introduced from the upstream side into the cells 22, thereby expanding the cells 33. At least one of the cells 22 is provided with an unexpanded region 36 in the mid-stream section in the midway from the upstream side to the downstream side. A cell seal 41 in a region downstream of the unexpanded region 36 is provided with a connection part which permits flowing of the fluid between the cell seal 41 and an adjacent cell seal 41. The unexpanded region 36 is used as a placement part 26 for a plane sheet 25 and an overlapped part 27.

  • Patent number: 9517874
Abstract: To provide a valve structure in which a valve sheet is not fused to outer sheets when heat-sealing to a sealed bag. The left and right sides of three valve constituting sheets are side-sealed, and opposed valve constituting sheets are brought into close contact with each other to restrict a fluid from moving. The inside and outside of a bag body are partitioned by a partition seal, the valve is disposed across the inside and outside of the bag body, and welded to the bag body by the partition seal. One of the opposed surfaces of the valve constituting sheets is formed of a non-weldable film that is not welded by welding of the side seals and the partition seal. The side seals become non-welded portions and side-entering preventive sealed portions that block flows of the fluid into the movement channel are provided continuously to the partition seal.

  • Patent number: 7297387
Abstract: The present invention provides an air-filling cushioning material which can sufficiently inflate cells and, in addition, which can hold the crease of the fold when being formed into a three-dimensional configuration. An air-filling cushioning material 1, in which a plurality of cells 2 having an air-fillable space are formed by adhering overlapped flexible sheets 1a, 1b at predetermined spots wherein one sheet 1a is flat while the other sheet 1b is molded beforehand into a configuration of the cells 2 in inflation at the position where the cells 2 are to be formed. Therefore, there is no such problem, as in the conventional case where the cells are formed by tucking the other sheet, the cells cannot inflate well. The cells 2 formed on the other sheet 1b can inflate sufficiently into a configuration as molded.

  • Patent number: 7249612
Abstract: Provided is a mounting structure of an open/close valve in a sealed body, wherein the open/close valve 2 mounted in the sealed body comprising soft resin sheets and allowing air to be filled therein is stuck on one sheet constituting the expansion part 12 of the sealed body and is not stuck on the other sheet. Even when the expansion part 12 is filled with air, the open/close valve 2 is always fitted closely to the sheet constituting the expansion part 12, whereby the open/close valve 2 may not wrinkle and air may not leak through an air passage of the open/close valve 2.

  • Patent number: 7228969
Abstract: It is an air-filled cushioning material which sufficiently protects an article to be protected with less possibility of rupture of sheets against an external force to a compartment thereof or wild bounding in falling. The air-filled cushioning material 1 formed of non-breathable soft resin sheets has a compartment area 2 that produces cushioning effect by filling it with air. The compartment area 2 is separated into a first compartment 21 and an adjacent second compartment 22, both compartments 21, 22 communicating with each other via an air-flow passage 7. The air-flow passage 7 allows an air-flow to pass from either of the compartments 21, 22 to the other while applying resistance. The air moves from either of the compartments 21, 22 which accepts an external force P to the other through the air-flow passage 7.

  • Patent number: 5927336
Abstract: A check-valved pouch has a main pouch body, and a check valve attached to the main pouch body. The main pouch body is formed of plastic film and defines an opening for receiving a substance. The check valve is formed of plastic film also, and includes a flat valve body defining an upper opening, with opposte sides and a lower end closed, and an inner passage for discharging gases toward the upper opening. A check piece formed of plastic film is disposed in an upper half of the valve body. The check valve further includes a porous filtering film disposed on one surface in a lower half of the valve body. The filtering film includes a filter surface, and a releasing film formed on the filter surface. The check valve is attached to the main pouch body, with the filtering film inserted into the main pouch body and the upper opening exposed to ambient air, whereby an interior of the main pouch body is communicable with an exterior through the filter surface, inner passage and upper opening.
