Abstract: The purpose of the invention is to provide a novel purification system allowing the efficient and economical production and purification of a recombinant fused protein, whereby the elution time at a low temperature can be reduced, since it has been a problem to be solved in the existing purification method using dockerin and cohesin. In this purification system, a dockerin polypeptide characterized in that the 14th amino acid in the subdomain 2 of dockerin originating from Clostridium josui is substituted with another amino acid, and a method for purification of a recombinant fused protein are provided.
Abstract: In a gaseous fuel supply apparatus with a shut-off valve, the valve includes a valve housing provided in a gas flow unit for supplying gaseous fuel from a fuel tank to a combustion engine, a seal member surrounding a valve port between a first port connecting to the tank and a second port connecting the engine in the housing, a valve member movable between a closed position at which the valve member is in contact with the seal member to close the valve port and an open position at which the valve member separates from the seal member to open the valve port, and a drive unit for driving the movement of the valve member by electromagnetic force.
Abstract: For the expression of a foreign gene, a virus is provided in which at least a part of a cysteine protease gene present on a genome of a baculovirus has been deleted or substituted by a marker gene. A process is also disclosed for the formation of the virus. A transfer vector for the deletion of a cysteine protease gene is also described. This transfer vector comprises a DNA fragment of a nuclear polyhedrosis virus genome, in which at least a part of a cysteine protease gene has been substituted by a marker gene, and a plasmid vector fragment. Also disclosed is a process for the production of an economic protein.
Abstract: An economic protein can be produced by using silkworms. The silkworms are chilled, warmed, and then orally infected with a virus in which a gene coding the target protein has been inserted. The silkworms so infected are then raised, followed by the collection of the target protein from the silkworms.
