Also, the thin and soft protection tube is disposed between the brush and the capsule with the end of the tube extending slightly beyond the end of the capsule, thereby preventing the brush from being bent at an acute angle to avoid broken hair of the brush.

At least a part of a partition portion of the intermediate lid is formed with an elastic material, with numerous small cuts vertically formed through the partition portion, thereby enabling make-up powder to pass through the small cuts opened by extending the partition portion. The small cuts are arranged in a direction crossing a direction of extension of the partition portion under a normal use condition.

(Solution) A part of the decolorize portion 15 having a dyed anodic oxidation film is immersed into a solution of decolorize agent 30 or the solution of decolorize agent 30 is adhered onto the decolorize portion 15. In case of immersing the work 100 into the solution of decolorize agent 30, the solution of decolorize agent 30 and the work 100 are relatively moved up and down or a liquid surface 31 of the solution of decolorize agent 30 is waved for adjustment of decolorizing.

Abstract: A retainer cylinder in which a cosmetic stick is fitted and held is provided with an engagement projection on a side surface therof and inserted in a guide cylinder so that the retainer cylinder can be moved slidingly in the vertical direction. A side wall of the guide cylinder is provided with an axially elongated guide groove through which the engagement projection is passed, and an annular locking recess is formed around the portion of an outer surface of the guide cylinder which is below a lower end of the guide groove. This guide cylinder is inserted in a sleeve so that the guide cylinder can be turned. The sleeve is provided at its lower portion with a locking rib engageable with the locking recess, whereby the sleeve is combined with the guide cylinder so that the sleeve does not come off from the guide cylinder, the sleeve being provided in its inner surface with a helical knurled thread having innumerable projections and recesses.
