Abstract: A system includes a sensor section which receives fuzzy information inputs X containing a plurality of components and converts the plurality of components into a plurality of measurable input physical quantities, a converter which receives a plurality of input physical quantities and converts the input physical quantities into a plurality of pulses having pulse widths corresponding to the magnitudes thereof, and a feature extraction section (NF) which receives a plurality of pulses, selects the plurality of pulses by using a set pulse width as a reference, and extracts feature information items y0, y1, y2, . . . which express the features of the fuzzy information inputs X from the fuzzy information inputs X according to the number of selected pulses.

Abstract: An encryption apparatus for block data, comprises a first processing unit randomizing the block data in units of first portions obtained by dividing the block data, and a second processing unit diffusing the block data output from the first processing unit with respect to a second portion of the block data which is wider than the first portion. The first processing unit comprises first nonlinear processing units nonlinearly transforming the block data in units of the first portions. The second processing unit comprises a first linear diffusion processing unit linearly diffusing the second portion of the block data. At least one of the first nonlinear processing units comprises second nonlinear processing units nonlinearly transforming the block data in units of the first portions, and a second linear diffusion processing unit linearly diffusing the second portion of the block data.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to easily and quickly decode a plurality of types of compressed audio data. A compressed audio data reproduction apparatus comprising a plurality of decoders configured to decode compressed audio data of respective exclusive compression forms, a compression form identifying portion configured to identify the compression form based on header information of the compressed audio data, and a selector configured to select the decoders corresponding to the compression form identified by said compression form identifying portion from said plurality of decoders.
