Patents Assigned to Kawasaki Electric Wire Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 8029318
Abstract: An electric power plug comprises blades, a bridge and a plug body. The bridge includes sleeves for covering the roots of the blades and a core for holding the lower ends of the blades. The blades and the core are integrally molded. The plug body is molded so that the plug body embeds the bridge except the upper portions of the sleeves. The core may embed the lower portions of the blades, cords, a caulking portion for connecting the lower ends of blades and wire conductors of the cords. A cavity may be formed at the central portion of the core. The plug body may be molded so that the plug body embeds the bridge and the cords except the upper portions of the sleeves.

  • Patent number: 4790776
Abstract: The invention is directed to a power plug which has a high physical strength against traction forces tending to pull the blades out of the plug body. The power plug of the invention realizes the above characteristics by comprising a pair of blades, each of the blades having one end connected to a cord, and a blade retaining member. The blade retaining member is made of an electrically insulating material, and has retaining portions which retain the blades so that they are not displaced relative to the blade retaining member. A resin molded plug body embeds the blade retaining member, proximal end portions of the pair of blades at which the blades are connected to the cord, and an end portion of the cord to which the blades are connected.

  • Patent number: 4406604
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for rotating the terminal blade for a structure which comprises a pair of terminal blades attached to a wire cord. The apparatus comprises a support for supporting the terminal blades, the support including a recess having contact surfaces wherein the terminal blades contact the recess on the contact surfaces thereof. At least one blade rotating device is provided which has a projection extending therefrom. A drive moves the recess and the blade rotating device towards each other such that the projection is moved between the terminal blades and contacts one edge of each of the terminal blades. The opposing edges of the terminal blades contact the contact surfaces of the recess, thereby causing each terminal blade to rotate between the projection and the recess such that the pair of terminal blades are aligned and positioned in parallel planes.
