    Abstract: Dry flowable solid compositions useful for preparing precision excavation and soil-grouting fluids are disclosed. The compositions are formulated so that, when added to water to form an excavation fluid, they enable the fluid in contact with unstable or sandy soils in the selected areas of the excavation to react and form silicate-based derivatives with lesser solubility and movement, thereby improving soil stability at the excavation wall.
