  • Patent number: 4941196
Abstract: A security bag includes a pair of overlapping wall panels joined at their bottom and side edges to define an opening at the top of the wall panels for carrying money and other items. One of the wall panels includes a receipt strip extending from the top of the panel and connected to the wall panel along a perforation line. The receipt strip and one of the wall panels each carry an identical identification number. The receipt strip is removable from the security bag by severing along the perforation line. A closure flap is provided for closing the opening of the bag when the receipt strip is removed. The closure flap includes a strip of tape having an adhesive on one surface that is adhered at a lower attachment portion of the tape to one wall panel. A release liner covers the adhesive on an upper sealing portion of the tape and is readily removable to expose the adhesive for adhering the closure flap to the other wall panel to close the bag opening.

  • Patent number: 4863286
Abstract: A recloseable bag having a fastener assembly comprising two fastener profiles, each having a hinged double wall construction to prevent unintended opening of the bag due to internal forces exerted on the inside of the bag wall panels. The bag is easily openable when suh is intended by simple manipulation of pull flanges, thereby providing access to the interior of the bag. The hinged double wall construction also assures proper alignment of the fastener profiles across the length of the upper portion of the bag wall panels, making interlocking closure easy when pressure is applied on the outer walls of the bag behind the fastener profiles.

  • Patent number: 4796300
Abstract: A reclosable flexible container is provided as a pouch having a front wall with an inside and an outside surface, a rear wall with an inside and an outside surface and a pouch opening. A pair of exterior closure elements are provided for mechanical interlocking with a pair of interior closure elements. A wall of the pouch is interposed between each interior and exterior closure element. The interior closure elements further have a mechanical mechanism for selective interlocking with each other so as to seal the pouch or reopen it as desired. As a result a reclosable pouch is provided without the use of heat seals or adhesives.

  • Patent number: 4758099
Abstract: A resealable container having flexible side walls defining an access opening, and a sealing cuff disposed internally of said access opening. The sealing cuff is formed from a film sheet having a first marginal edge affixed to the container about the periphery of the access opening and having a free second marginal edge extending into the container. The sealing cuff defines mutually oposed surfaces having high cling characteristics so as to form a seal therebetween when brought into surface engagement. An external cuff having high slip properties may be formed peripherally of the access opening to facilitate opening of the internal sealing cuff.
