  • Patent number: 11168724
Abstract: A toggle includes a bearer plate which defines a surface for bearing, in use, against the confronting surface of a support structure and a pair of support plates secured to the bearer plate and spaced apart to pivotally support there between a barrel, the barrel being integral with or connectable to a connector whereby, in use, the connector may secure the toggle bearer plate against the confronting surface of a support structure, at least the bearer plate of the toggle being formed from mild steel. There is provided also an assembly of the toggle and a support member, with the connector extending through the support member to secure the bearer plate against a confronting surface of the support member.

  • Patent number: 8801348
Abstract: A blind fastener for clamping together two components through which the fastener extends comprises a sleeve having a radially expandable first end, a threaded fastener for extending through the sleeve, an expansion head threadedly mounted on the threaded fastener whereby movement of the expansion head towards the second end of the sleeve expands the first end, a collar for engaging with the second end of the sleeve and having an aperture through which the threaded fastener extends, the threaded fastener having a head formation for rotation of the threaded when the collar is positioned between the head portion and the sleeve, and said second end of the sleeve and the confronting surface of the collar comprising inter-engaging formations which resist relative rotation of the sleeve and collar but permit their axial separation.
