Abstract: A method of providing an estimated value of a vehicle comprises providing access for a user to a server, wherein the user provides a data for a vehicle to the website. The data is stored in a user database and assigned an identification code. The server calculates an estimated vehicle value based on data provided by the user, wherein the estimated vehicle value is calculated at a first point in time. The estimated value of the vehicle is provided to the user. A vehicle advertisement is generated, wherein the identification code is embedded in the advertisement, wherein the advertisement provides the value of the vehicle calculated at the first point in time. The server receives the identification code at a second point in time, wherein the second point in time is after the first point in time, wherein the identification code is obtained from the embedded identification code.
