Abstract: A dual-layer linear cross belt sorting system is provided, including a package supply table, a sorting loop, a platform, sliding chutes and a scanning device. The sorting loop is of a closed-loop and dual-layer linear conveying structure in a vertical direction, and the sorting loop includes sorting trolleys connected along a single queue, two sets of dual-layer rails formed by connecting bent rails located at two ends and straight rails located at upper and lower layers to each other by an internal welding, a driving component and a tensioning component. The driving component and the tensioning component constitute a transmission structure of the sorting loop and are located at two ends of the sorting loop respectively.

Abstract: A cross belt sorting trolley is provided, including an upper conveying unit and a lower frame. A folding plate is horizontally mounted on a side of each side plate. A first bending connecting plate or a second bending connecting plate is vertically connected to the side of each side plate. The folding plate is an integral horizontal plate-like component. A plurality of uniform circular arc-shaped sections are arranged on an outer side edge of the folding plate. The plurality of uniform circular arc-shaped sections of folding plates on both sides of the cross belt sorting trolley engage with each other. A plurality of folding plate fixing plates are mounted on a side portion of each side plate. The plurality of folding plate fixing plates are provided with bending portions. Side portions of the plurality of folding plate fixing plates are fixedly connected to side plates.

Abstract: A side-by-side parcel separation method is provided. The side-by-side parcel separation method includes the following steps: dispersion: dispersing, by an angle difference existing in a conveying direction, parcels arriving at a dispersion device from a conveying line, wherein a gap is reserved between adjacent parcels; detection and recognition: photographing and recognizing detected parcels by a visual recognition device to obtain a three-dimensional size and real-time position data of each parcel; separation: applying different conveying speeds to the adjacent parcels by a separation device, arriving, by a first parcel-recognized to be at a front position, at a side-approaching device at a fast speed, and repeating the foregoing steps; and single-row queuing: forwardly conveying, in a single-row queuing mode, different parcels arriving at the side-approaching device in sequence. A separation device for implementing the side-by-side parcel separation method is also provided.
