Patent number: 12401383Abstract: A communication gateway for connecting an LPWAN network to a network for access to a cellular or RAN network, the LPWAN network and the RAN network using radio links. Such a gateway typically allows connected objects and servers on the Internet to communicate according to the Internet of Things (IoT) architecture. However, the proximity of the frequency bands used for the two radio links may lead to mutual interference between them, the transmitter of one interfering with the receiver of the other, especially when the gateway is miniature, of the order of magnitude of the connected objects (approximately 10 cm). The disclosed gateway electromagnetically isolates the two RF channels by means of double filtering: by a bandpass filter on the LPWAN RF channel combined with a rejection filter on the cellular RF channel.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2021Date of Patent: August 26, 2025Assignee: KERLINKInventor: Michel Gilbert

Method for controlling the load of a data concentration gateway for a wireless communication network
Patent number: 10686652Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling the load of a data concentration gateway for a wireless communication network, the method comprising: —receiving a plurality of data signals from a plurality of remote client devices, —providing the communication start date of each data signal received, —selecting a received data signal, —determining a communication end date of each data signal received, —determining a number of data signals received by the gateway that are different from the selected data signal, which have a communication end date that is between the communication start date of the selected data signal and the communication end date of the selected data signal, —comparing the number of data signals to a threshold number, and —emitting an alarm signal in response to the detection that the number of data signals is greater than the threshold number.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2017Date of Patent: June 16, 2020Assignee: KERLINKInventors: Ronan Dubourg, Yannick Delibie -

Patent number: 10312949Abstract: A gateway architecture able to meet the challenges raised by the large-scale deployment of wireless sensor networks. The main modules within such a gateway for wireless sensor networks, for example digital radio modems and analog radio interface modules take the form of various separate physical blocks that may be joined together. This technique makes it possible to implement adaptable and scalable modular gateways that may be quickly and easily configured or suited to any situation, simply by replacing existing physical blocks or adding new physical blocks.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2016Date of Patent: June 4, 2019Assignee: KERLINKInventors: Martin Chaplet, Michel Gilbert, Samuel Nicolas, Ronan Dubourg, Yannick Delibie
