    Abstract: In order to stabilize stacks of cartons of consumer products which have ultra-low friction, glossy, point of sales graphics surfaces, on a pallet, without having to package the cartons in an outer container such as a corrugated cardboard box or the like, high-friction tie sheets are used between each superimposed layer of the carton. Each tie sheet has opposed ultra-high friction surfaces with a coefficient of friction of at least 0.8, up to 0.9 or even higher to itself.
