    Abstract: The present invention relates to an abrasive material in the form of a mesh, which is obtained by means of a method of impregnating an open mesh support with a binder, followed by the application of a suitable abrading material and subsequent drying or consolidation. The present material, due to the open mesh structure, allows the suction of the dust and residual material that is formed during the use thereof, and has optimum values of elasticity, resistance and efficacy.
