    Abstract: Disclosure is made of apparatus for the separation of solids having relatively low specific gravities from heavier liquids, such as water. The apparatus comprises a multiplicity of separate chambers, through which mixtures of the solids or their liquified forms with the water are passed. The passage is a tortuous route designed to solidify liquid forms of the solids and to effect separation according to specific gravities.
