Patent number: 10348363Abstract: The various embodiments provide a system for interconnecting a plurality of devices for budding automation systems. The system comprising on or more sensor units to transmit data along with a sensor device address an a network, one or more actuator units to receive the transmitted data, a monitoring unit to receive, monitor and record the transmitted data, a control unit to monitor functioning of devices on the network and transmit data to the actuators, a link unit to extend range of the network by retransmitting the signals received from one cable to other cables and an interface unit to convert signals to and from the network into a format of another communication protocol. The network comprises a plurality of devices connected to a single cable to communicate with other devices on the network by generating charge disturbances and detecting the charge disturbances propagated over the cable.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2013Date of Patent: July 9, 2019Assignee: KFX CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITEDInventor: Nishil Thomas Koshy

Patent number: 9647721Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a system and method to provide a high speed data transmission over a wired network. The system comprising a transmitting end, a first electrical circuitry provided at the transmitting end to generate an electrical disturbance according to an input signal received from a source network, a receiving end, a second electrical circuitry provided at the receiving end to detect a signal disturbance, to amplify the signal and to regenerate the transmitted signal data from the received signal and a wired network interconnecting the transmitting end and the receiving end. The generated disturbance is transmitted over the wired network using a single conductor as positive spikes, negative spikes or as signals closely resembling the input signal. The receiving end employs a line disturbance detection scheme without necessarily requiring a common ground connection.Type: GrantFiled: May 31, 2012Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Assignee: KFX CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITEDInventor: Nishil Thomas Koshy

Patent number: 9590702Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a system and method for providing short range wireless communication. The system comprises a transmitting end, a first electrical circuitry provided at the transmitting end to generate a propagating EM wave on a connected wire according to an input data signal, a transmitting antenna provided at the transmitting end designed to maximize scattering of the propagating EM wave, a receiving end, a receiving antenna provided at the receiving end to detect the scattered EM wave and a second electrical circuitry provided at the receiving end to recover the input data signal from the signal received by the receiving antenna. Here a wireless link is established by means of the scattered EM waves generated by near field emissions from a surface of the transmitting antenna.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2013Date of Patent: March 7, 2017Assignee: KFX CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITEDInventor: Nishil Thomas Koshy

Patent number: 9407321Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide an improved system for communicating data over a wired connection. The system comprising a transmitting end, a switching circuit provided at the transmitting end to generate a propagating signal disturbance according to an input signal data received from a source network, a receiving end and a receiver circuit provided at the receiving end to detect the propagating signal disturbance and to regenerate the transmitted signal data from the received signal. The propagated signal disturbance is detected at the receiving end without a need for a common ground reference. The propagating disturbance is created by inducing an electron distribution change at one end of the wired connection and propagated along the length of the wire. The propagating disturbance is generated using one of an inductor, a capacitor and a switching device.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2013Date of Patent: August 2, 2016Assignee: KFX CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITEDInventor: Nishil Thomas Koshy
