  • Patent number: 11745713
Abstract: An electric brake booster for an autonomous vehicle is provided. The electric brake booster includes a body part that receives a power cylinder generating braking pressure in an autonomous driving/braking mode and a master cylinder generating braking pressure in a manual driver braking mode. A driving shaft is movable in an axial direction in the power cylinder and coupled to a piston. A first motor is connected to a first side of the driving shaft and provides driving power thereto. A second motor is connected to a second side of the driving shaft and provides driving power thereto in a direction equal to that of the driving power provided from the first motor. A controller determines whether the first or second motor normally operates and simultaneously or separately operates the first and second motors based on a magnitude of the pressure in the power cylinder or whether emergency braking occurs.

  • Patent number: 11750130
Abstract: Provided is a method of controlling a sensorless motor for an air compressor. The method controls early driving of a sensorless motor for an air compressor, overcomes related-art problems, and improves control response. A position of a rotor of the motor, finally estimated by a sensorless control logic at a point in time at which the motor is determined to be in the stopped state, is determined to be an alignment target position. An alignment start position is determined from the alignment target position in accordance with a predetermined alignment offset angle. The position of the rotor of the motor is controlled to change from the determined alignment start position to the alignment target position.

  • Patent number: 11746218
Abstract: Disclosed are a water-expandable rubber composition and a water-expandable rubber pad including the same. The water-expandable rubber pad manufactured using the water-expandable rubber composition is rigid enough to be directly inserted into a cylinder jacket even without a metal plate, etc. Moreover, the water-expandable rubber pad may increase in volume upon contact with engine coolant, thereby being optimized for an assembly process and facilitating design. Thus, since no separate assembly parts are used compared to conventional cases, the number of parts can be reduced, and costs can be reduced, and adhesiveness of the rubber pad is superior to that of conventional foam rubber and thus heat retention performance is excellent, resulting in improved engine fuel efficiency.
