Abstract: A luminaire for use in parking garages having a vertical reference axis, a horizontal driving lane axis, and a horizontal parking stall axis. The resulting asymmetry is such that there is a substantially greater throw of light along the parking stall axis than along the driving lane axis, with improved lighting for parking purposes, and glare free lighting for the driving lane.
Abstract: The invention relates to a hinge for pivotally mounting flood lamps. The hinge includes a first and second knuckle. The first knuckle has an internally threaded socket. The second knuckle includes a first part and a second part, and the parts are interlocked for simultaneous rotation. The first part further has a rotation resisting surface facing the first knuckle. The hinge further includes a pair of shroud members, which each have counterbored aperatures therethrough and are arrange on each side of the second knuckle. There is a pair of threaded hinge pins, one each passing through a shourd member and a part of the second knuckle and threadably received in the first knuckles threaded socket. Loosening the threaded hinge pins permits relative rotation of the knuckles while tightening of the threaded hinge pins fixer the angular orientation of the hinge. The counterbores of the shrouds make difficult uninvited (i.e. vandalism) tampering of the hinge.
Abstract: A nozzle for an architectural fountain which has fixed deflector surfaces that produce a plume divided into well-aerated drops of substantial size.

Abstract: A luminaire having a post and arm whose external surfaces are generally similar in cross-section. The arm extends away from the post and has a window through which light from a lamp passes. The lamp and associated circuit means are on a mount which is engageable by a tracer means of which internal parts of the luminaire can conveniently be installed, removed, and replaced.
Abstract: An electrical junction assembly is disclosed for electrically coupling mating bus bars of two adjacent tracks having single or double sets of bus bars. The assembly may contain the electrical conductors for supplying current to the bus bars. The assembly may be L, I, T or X-shaped. The assembly is removably coupled to the tracks in a manner to facilitate ease of coupling and uncoupling.
