Abstract: A mobile fire fighting foam delivery system. The system can include a trailer towable behind a vehicle. The trailer includes a frame with top, bottom and side surfaces, and is formed with a stabilizing ballast assembly. The trailer is mounted with an inlet that is connected with a nozzle assembly. The nozzle assembly includes a discharge nozzle device, and is structured and configured with a limited range of motion. Also included is a pump and hose system that can provide high volume flow of water and foam to the trailer in a variety of configurations. Also included is a manifold having a main body having an outlet, a plurality of inlets coupled to the main body, and at least one pressure relief valve coupled to the main body.

Abstract: A pump system that includes one or more satellite supply pumps to feed a main pump. The pump system enables a large flow volume of water to be delivered over long distances. The system is self contained in a transportable container. The supply pumps enable water may be drawn from a number of sources. The pump system can be provided with or without a main boost pump. The system can include one, two, or more satellite pumps. The pump system can include a first engine to drive the main boost pump and a second engine to drive the satellite pumps.

Abstract: A fire suppression apparatus for mixing a first fluid, such as water, with a second fluid, such as foam, to be delivered through a fluid delivery line. A ratio controller is disposed within the delivery line and includes a first restriction area through which the first fluid passes, and that also accepts the second fluid. A fluid control mechanism is connected to the ratio controller, and includes a second restriction area. The fluid control mechanism delivers the second fluid to be mixed with the first fluid in the delivery line. A pressure sensing module measures the pressures of the first and second fluids. A control computer processes the pressures measured from the pressure sensing module, and maintains the pressure of the second fluid equal to the pressure from the first fluid. The first restriction area and the second restriction area define a ratio that determines a flow amount of the second fluid.
