  • Patent number: 10004532
Abstract: A puncture assistance system provides information on a collapse state of a blood vessel to be punctured, caused by pressing action of an ultrasonic probe, when ultrasonic images of the blood vessel are acquired. A puncture assistance system 10 includes: vascular diameter detecting means 18 for detecting a vascular diameter during acquisition of the ultrasonic images from an ultrasonic diagnostic device 11; puncture assistance information generating means 12 for generating puncture assistance information for determination of whether or not puncture is allowed to be performed based on a collapse state of a blood vessel B caused by pressing action of an ultrasonic probe 15 against skin S by comparing a current vascular diameter detected by the vascular diameter detecting means 18 with a standard vascular diameter stored in advance; and a monitor 19 that presents the puncture assistance information.

  • Publication number: 20130008263
Abstract: Disclosed is a flowrate sensor having a flowrate detection means built into a surface mounted package. The flowrate sensor includes a fluid flow path (70) formed in a package (12) to guide a fluid from an inflow port (30) provided in the lower surface of the package (12) to an outflow port (32) provided in the lower surface of the package (12) through the flowrate detection means; and an external terminal (40) provided in the outer surface of the package (12) to guide an electric output of the flowrate detection means therethrough. The flowrate sensor can be used for any of a liquid and a gas. The flowrate sensor is suitable for miniaturization, can be surface-mounted on an electronic circuit board or the like, and has a high reliability.

  • Publication number: 20090199610
Abstract: The dimensions of the fitting part of an actuator are to be dramatically reduced while enabling control items such as a driving motor and a position sensor of standard designs to be fitted around outside the actuator. To achieve this purpose, the actuator is provided with a trunnion type universal joint including: a fitting shaft, holding members and a rotary block having a nut arranged in it; a ball screw that is screwed into the nut of the universal joint and, being operationally linked to a driving power source, can move the nut back and forth; and a ball screw guide that is provided on the universal joint and guides the back-and-forth moving direction of the ball screw.

  • Patent number: 6662613
Abstract: In a long member bending apparatus having a bending head and a material supply unit, the bending head is composed of a base plate having a guide pipe, which includes a guide hole for passing a long member, at the center thereof, a movable plate having a die, which applies a bending force to the long member supplied from the guide pipe forward, disposed at the center thereof, and six extendable units including hydraulic cylinders interposed between the base plate and the movable plate and universal joints disposed to both the ends of each hydraulic cylinder, thereby a parallel link mechanism is arranged that executes a motion of a total of six degrees of freedom including three degrees of freedom of translational movement and three degrees of freedom of rotation by expanding and contracting the hydraulic cylinders to set the position (distance, offset), inclination, and the like of the movable plate with respect to the base plate.

  • Patent number: 5706799
Abstract: An oxygen respirator with safety and simple handling, comprising a body, a small portable-type oxygen cylinder or oxygen generator mounted on the body, a mask, a first hose transferring oxygen from the body to the mask, a tank member mounted on the body for receiving exhalation, a second hose transferring exhalation from the mask to the body, and a carbon dioxide absorbing material charged in the body for removing carbon dioxide from exhalation sent back from the mask to the body. During emergency and evacuation for example in fire, thus, oxygen is transferred to the mask by removing a trigger or the like. The respirator also enables the reuse of exhalation for respiration. Despite of the small size, therefore, the respirator can protect a user from risks such as suffocation for a relatively long period of time.
