Abstract: A venous tourniquet having a constricting strap which can be placed around a body part, which strap is elastic in the direction of circumference or is provided with at least one elastic portion, and having a closing device by which the constricting strap can be locked into a tightening loop when the strap is positioned around a body part in the tightened state. One embodiment is advantageous if both structure and use is obtained by designing the closing device as a hook-and-loop fastener having two lockingly engaging closing parts.

Abstract: A ligature device for body parts, with a closure housing, having a base wall, two lateral walls, a cover wall on the upper side thereof and a ligature strap, which may be coupled or is detachably coupled at one end of the closure housing, by a clipping buckle which may be introduced from the rear between an intermediate wall and the cover wall. The above is run or may be run with the other free end thereof between a rocker, pivotably mounted on the base wall and an intermediate wall, arranged at a separation above, through the closure housing, to form a loop and may be clamped by the rocker against a front section of the intermediate wall, connected to the closure housing. Easy manipulation is achieved with a simple construction, whereby the intermediate wall includes a sprung section, projecting from the upper side, by which the rear section of the clipping buckle is raised and pressed, in the assembled state, with the back upper face thereof against a counter support, fixed to the housing.

Abstract: A plexor having a handle and a head attached to a front section, and having tapping elements seated on both sides on a receiving body. One tapping element terminates in a line-shaped tapping section, and the other tapping element terminates in a point-like tapping section. An orientation of the line-shaped tapping section can be rotated into different angular positions around an axis extending in the longitudinal direction of the head and can be fixed in place in the desired rotated position.

Abstract: A constriction device for limiting circulation of blood, fluids and other materials to limbs and other appendages. Compressive force can be applied to the limb or other appendage through the device's band which is held in place by the action of a clamping member. Compressive force may be variably or immediately released. The device is convenient to use and may be controlled with one hand leaving the other hand free to perform other tasks.
