A light control film 10 having a rough surface is constituted so that, for a curved surface of the rough surface approximated in an approximately square region having an area of 1 mm2 or larger defined at an arbitrary position on the rough surface by using height data of the rough surface measured with predetermined intervals for the longitudinal and transverse directions in the approximately square region, an average of slopes of the curved surface (?nv (degree)) of the rough surface with respect to a base plane of the film should be not less than 27 degrees and not more than 70 degrees at substantially any position on the light control film.

The anti-Newton ring sheet can prevent scratching of a contact surface even if it is brought into contact with a light guide plate or the like made of a softer material, without loss of the anti-Newton ring effect. The anti-Newton ring sheet can be utilized for an optical film having an anti-Newton ring effect by providing an optical function layer such as a light diffusing layer on the surface opposite the anti-Newton ring layer.

    Abstract: A transmission screen having a writable and erasable surface for one side is provided. This transmission screen is constructed so that the writable and erasable surface should have a specular gloss (JIS K5600-4-7:1999) of 70 to 135%, the transmission screen as a whole should have a haze (JIS K7136:2000) of 80% or more, and the surface opposite to the writable and erasable surface should have a specular gloss (JIS K5600-4-7:1999) of 10% or less. With this transmission screen, writing with a marker for white boards and erasing can be easily done while seeing images projected on the transmission screen, and the images from a projector do not become hard to see due to projection of the images on the body of a writer.
