Abstract: The present invention relates to a foldable honeycomb structure and method for making the same. The method comprises (a) providing a plurality of flat strips; (b) forming a pair of longitudinal creases in each strip thereby defining the first two longitudinal margins of each strip and a central portion of each strip between the creases; (c) folding each strip along said creases so that each folded strip has two exposed outside surfaces; (d) applying at least three longitudinal glue lines to the exposed outside surface of each folded strip; and (e) stacking the glued strips. As a result, it need not open the longitudinal margins during the process of applying the longitudinal glue lines, which can avoid the deformation of the strip and have a precise gluing position.

Abstract: An apparatus for sizing at a single workstation pleated shades and mini blinds in a particular dimension uses a sizing device that includes hydraulic actuated horizontal and vertical blades and a cutting rail assembly. The hydraulic actuated horizontal and vertical blades are used to respectively cut the components of a pleated shade or a mini blind, such as head rails, bottom rails and a pleated blind or aluminum slats. The horizontal and the vertical blades are sequentially operated to prevent the blades from colliding with each other. The cutting rail assembly has multiple stacked guiding blocks so that the pleated shade and the mini blind can be held in different tiers and be simultaneously cut at the single workstation.

Abstract: A roller shade cutting machine includes a base, a track assembly, a shade holder, a slat cutting device and a shade cutting device. The track assembly is mounted the base and includes a stationary track and an adjustable track with a ruler slidably mounted on the stationary track. The shade holder is mounted on the stationary track and has a rotating chuck to clamp a roller of the roller shade. The shade cutting device is mounted on the stationary track below the shade holder to cut the spinning roller. The slat cutting device is mounted on the stationary track and has a rolling cutter that is swiftly turned to cut a slat of the roller shade. Therefore, the cutting machine can be used to cut not only the roller but also the slat of the roller shade so that the machine is convenient to use.
