    Abstract: The invention relates to a ground engaging member in the form of a ball for supporting load carrying structures, such as wheelbarrows. The ball is preferably moulded from a plastics material, such as a mixture of EVA and low density polyethylene, and is formed in one piece with sockets for receiving stub axles on the frame of the barrow. The stub axles are non-rotatably mounted in an inner cup-shaped nylon bearing rotatably mounted in an outer cup-shaped nylon bearing fixedly received in a socket. The ball may be moulded with treads and ribs.
