  • Patent number: 8656569
Abstract: A device for the assembly of a motor vehicle clutch (99), has a pretensioning device (1) for clamping a plate spring (102), which is arranged in a clutch cover (100) of the motor vehicle clutch (99) together with a pressure plate (104) and by which the pressure plate (104) is pressed against a carrier plate (119) of the clutch (99) during operation. The clutch cover (100) is mounted stationarily during operation by a plurality of mounting bolts on a driven plate (97) and wherein the pretensioning device (1) has a base plate (2) with a central pressing screw (6), which is axially adjustable centrally through the base plate (2) against the plate spring (102) for pretensioning the plate spring (102).

  • Patent number: 7832071
Abstract: A device for extracting a nozzle assembly of a fuel injection installation. The nozzle assembly is pressed into a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, with a support pipe, with which the extraction device of the device is supported in the area surrounding the nozzle assembly on the valve cover during the extraction operation. To rule out deformations of the valve cover in case of strong tensile forces and extremely crowded space conditions, provisions are made according to the present invention for a divided support ring, which is formed from two ring sections, which can be placed individually on the valve cover in the area surrounding the nozzle assembly, to be able to be inserted between the support pipe of the extraction device and the surface of the valve cover.

  • Patent number: 7484281
Abstract: A tool system for replacing a glow plug (31) of a diesel engine includes a plurality of tools (55), by means of which a defective glow plug (31), which is screwed tightly into an internal thread (33) of a mounting hole (32) of a cylinder head (30) of the diesel engine, can be removed from the mounting hole (32), the glow plug (31) being arranged in a radially expanded, cylindrical depression (34) of the mounting hole (32) of the cylinder head (30). To make it possible to accurately align the individual tools (55) necessary for replacing the glow plug (31) with the central longitudinal axis of the mounting hole (32), a clamping sleeve (2) is provided, which can be inserted into the depression (34) and into which a centering sleeve (1, 20) can be pushed to concentrically align the individual tools (55, 65, 75, 85, 95). The clamping sleeve (2) can be pressed into the depression (34) to hold the centering sleeve (1, 20) in a fixed and clamping manner.

  • Patent number: 7096550
Abstract: A system for tensioning a coil spring with a spring vice (120), comprising a first and second pressure plate (40, 1) each, which are disk-shaped or strip-shaped and have a central opening (63, 3) each. The pressure plates (40, 1) can be caused to engage a spring turn of the coil spring each to tension the coil spring. A tensioning device is formed from a threaded pipe and a threaded spindle (41). The threaded spindle (41) has a spindle head (85), which is provided with a wrench profile and via which the threaded spindle (41) is axially supported at the first pressure plate (40) by means of a thrust bearing (43) and wherein the threaded pipe (2) has, at its end located axially opposite the spindle head (85), radially projecting radial fingers (31, 32), by which the threaded pipe (2) can be brought into pulling connection with the second pressure plate (1).

  • Patent number: 7020944
Abstract: A device (1) is provided for pressing out a component pressed into a bearing bore of a bearing eye of an axle component. The device includes a support bell (2) being supported at the bearing eye in the area around the bearing bore and a pressure piece (20), which can be pushed axially through the bearing bore together with the component. The pressing device can be operatively positioned or mounted to the support bell (2) and to the pressure piece (20) for the pressing-out operation. To make it possible to carry out the pressing-out operation simply and reliably, provisions are made for arranging a clamping plate (12), which can be detachably connected to the support bell (2) and via which the support bell (2) is held at the bearing eye (24) in a firmly seated manner, at the bearing eye (12) axially opposite the support bell (2).
