Patents Assigned to Kleinewefers Textilmaschinen GmbH
  • Patent number: 6315703
Abstract: A pressure treatment roller includes a roller core and a casing tube supported on the roller core by a central support. A first intermediate space and a second intermediate space are defined on both axial sides of the central support. The intermediate spaces are each disposed between the roller core and the casing tube. The casing tube has bores interior of its outer surface. The bores are connected to a supply for a heat transfer fluid.

  • Publication number: 20010011408
Abstract: A calender, particularly for webs of textile fabric, non-woven fabric or synthetic fabric, includes a frame and a first roll, a second roll and a third roll mounted on the frame. The third roll forms during operation of the calender a single nip either with the first roll or with the second roll. The first roll is movable between a work position in which it forms a nip with the third roll and a first parking position, and the second roll is movable between a work position in which it forms the nip with the third roll and a second parking position, wherein the work positions coincide and the parking position of each roll is located at such a distance from the third roll that a movement of the respectively other roll between the work position and the parking position is possible.

  • Patent number: 5980582
Abstract: A method and apparatus for continuously treating a web of fabric in a first treatment section and a second treatment section through which the web of fabric passes. The first treatment section includes a desizing station. The desizing station includes an application stage having a plurality of spray nozzles, a dwell stage, a mechanical liquid removal device and a wash stage. A first return conduit fluidly connects the wash stage to the application stage. The method includes applying a size containing size carrier on the web of fabric to desize the web of fabric. The size containing size carrier is removed from the web of fabric after the size carrier has taken effect upon the web of fabric. At least a portion of the removed size containing size carrier is added to the size carrier solution before the solution is applied to an upstream portion of the web of fabric.

  • Patent number: 5960499
Abstract: In a device for application of a bath to a continuous textile web, a deflection roller is disposed in a trough. The textile web contacts the deflection roller when passing through the trough. The device permits variations in treatment of the textile web by varying the time that the web is in contact with the bath in the trough. The time that the web is in contact with bath in the trough is determined in part by the filling height of the bath in the trough which is controlled by treatment time adjustment means.

  • Patent number: 4719706
Abstract: Apparatus for expelling and/or withdrawing moisture from, or for admitting moisture to, a running web of paper or textile material has rolls which define one or more nips for the running web and at least one of which has a stack of washer-like funnel-shaped absorbent discs compressed between two end walls one of which has an outwardly bulging frustoconical surface and the other of which has an inwardly bulging frustoconical surface. The discs surround a core of stainless steel and their density in the region of the core is highest due to the provision of funnel-shaped elastomeric inserts which surround the core and whose thickness decreases in a direction from the core toward the external surface of the roll. Such roll renders it possible to operate with a stack of discs whose hardness at the periphery of the roll is relatively low in spite of a substantial nip pressure, or to operate with a very pronounced nip pressure at a given hardness in the region of the peripheral surface.

  • Patent number: 4712472
Abstract: A running web which contains moisture is caused to travel through the nip of two squeezing rollers one of which is deformable in that it comprises a stationary carrier and a cylindrical shell which surrounds the carrier and also surrounds a first set of inflatable cushions adjacent the nip and a second set of inflatable cushions opposite the first set. Sensors monitor the moisture content of selected longitudinally extending portions of the web, and the signals which are generated by such sensors are processed by an evaluating circuit and are transmitted to valves which regulate the pressure of pneumatic fluid in the cushions. Each cushion of the second set registers with a cushion of the first set, and the registering cushions can receive fluid from associated sets of valves including a pressure regulating valve which can increase or reduce the pressure of fluid in the respective cushions and a second valve which can shift the admission of fluid from one into the other of the registering valves.
