    Abstract: The invention comprises a conveyor device 1, provided with a turning station (3) and a supply belt for supplying products to the turning station in a direction of conveyance with a first orientation. The turning station comprises a cam belt (20) that is rotatable in a closed loop and has cams (28) placed at regular intervals, and also a retaining element (26), for retaining products during the transition from the first track part (24) to the second track part (25). The cams on the belt (20) and the retaining element (26) ensure that at high speeds the products are positioned in an accurate manner during the change of direction. The invention also relates to a motor suspension (30). A drive motor (33) and a drive roller for a conveyor belt are suspended from two arms. With the motor suspension, the belt tension and belt orientation can be adjusted in a simple manner, and the motor can be removed in a simple manner for repair or replacement.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a rotatable gripper device (1) for picking up and rotating products which are supplied on a conveyor belt. The device according to the invention comprises a gripper head (2, 3) which can rotate about a vertical central shaft (4) and has a gripping member (18) which can rotate about its axis. For upward and downward movement, the device comprises a first cam roller (6, 7) and cam discs (8), and for rotation about the axis comprises a second cam roller (9, 10) and cam disc (11). The device according to the invention is of a simple and relatively lightweight design, so that it is suitable for operating at high speeds. The gripper device according to the invention can be used to accurately set the rotational path of the gripping member (18) at the gripping position and the release position, by means of the shape of the cam disc, in order to produce a gradual transfer.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a conveyor device for accelerating a series of products. The conveyor device includes a feed device for supplying products at a feed velocity along a transport path in the direction of transport T.sub.1. By operating an acceleration device located downstream of the feed device, the products are lifted up and transferred to a transfer device, which delivers the product downstream at regular intervals and at a higher velocity. The feed device includes a stationary take-over plate, and the acceleration device includes grippers which move along a hypocycloid path. In this case, the grippers preferably move along an essentially triangular path with a path section situated parallel to the direction of transport. By way of the grippers, the product which has been placed on the take-over plate is lifted up at a low initial velocity and is then accelerated in the direction of transport.

    Abstract: A conveyor device for accelerating a series of products comprises a feed device for supplying products at a feed velocity, an acceleration device which is positioned downstream thereof, and a transfer device for taking up the accelerated products and delivering the products at regular intervals and at an accelerated velocity. The acceleration device comprises a transport path, with a belt of projections on either side thereof, which belt rotates at a lower velocity than the transport path. The transport path carries along the products at an accelerated velocity until they bear against the projections. After they have come to bear against the projections, the accelerated products are taken up by the transfer device. Due to the fact that the position of the projections is known at all times, an accurately determined position of the accelerated products is obtained in this way and shifts of the products which have occurred during acceleration are compensated for.
