Abstract: The present invention relates to a carousel with an upper rotating beam (2) arranged on a central mast (1). Carrier rods (3) carrying gondolas or seat carriers (4) are arranged in the circumference of the rotating beam, which may be swiveled outwards and inwards. According to the invention the carrier rods can by inducement of force be swiveled outwards and inwards at angles to the radial or circumferential direction of the rotating beam, which, particularly with the alternate swiveling of successive carrier rods (3) on the rotation, reduces the entire floor space for the carousel and increases the passenger frequency.

Abstract: A fairground device has a base disc driven for rotation about a central axis, seat supports carried by the base disc in a spaced relation relative to the central axis for rotation of the seat supports about a second axis, and seats mounted eccentrically relative to a corresponding second axis. In the improvement, the seats are mounted on the seat supports for rotation about a third axis extending substantially transversely to the second axis. The base disc has a plurality of longitudinally extending radial arms pivotally connected to a central hub for pivoting the radial arms about an axis extending transversely to the longitudinally extending radial arms and for carrying the seat supports. A positioning device sets the pivotable position of the radial arms.

Abstract: An amusement device comprising two supporting columns with a carrier arm mounted on each column by means of a horizontal rotation shaft so as to be drivable for rotation thereon. The two carrier arms are rotatable in substantially parallel planes, each carrier arm extending on either side of the associated rotation shaft, with a counterweight mounted on the one end and a three-dimensional rotation joint mounted on the other end for attachment to one end of the gondola. The arrangement is such that the gondola is carried on each end by a separate carrier arm. The device is characterized by a joint mounted in at least one of the two carrier arms in such a manner that the gondola-carrying arm portion swivels about a shaft perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rotation shaft.

Abstract: A boat cradle for supporting boats, comprising a frame supported on legs and carrying support arms of adjustable length that extend upwards from said frame. According to the invention, the frame is supported on three leg structures.
