Patents Assigned to KoBel, Inc.
  • Patent number: 5921581
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a combined pressure sensitive and dry release structure which is a multiple layered promotion card and/or phone card. The card assembly combines a card assembly that contains information in an area that can be hidden and, at the same time, can provide a large usable area of information that is exposed to the user. Varnish is positioned in areas on the front side of the bottom sheet and silicone or other release agent is positioned on the rear side of the top sheet, and then adhesive is placed over the release agent with the balance of the adhesive positioned on the rear side of the top sheet, which provides both a dry strip card and adhesive sticking areas on the same product. In use, the card is sent to a potential client who is provided with a number of options. The rear side of the bottom sheet contains a return card to which stickers indicating specific interests are also provided on it that can be attached to the return card which is also part of the promo card.

  • Patent number: 5785355
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a card structure which is a single unit phone card assembly which provides an area to provide variable information which will maintain the variable information in a hidden area until the information is exposed by the removal of an overlamination and allow the card to be detached to be used as a phone card. The phone card is comprised of two layers of material upon which a variable image printed message is applied. A pattern of silicone is positioned on the face of the top sheet and a pattern of varnish is positioned on the bottom of the top sheet. Adhesive is then used on the face of the base sheet and the sheets are slit and crossed over and laminated together. A series of die cuts and laminations are done to finish the card and extra material is stripped away. In use, the consumer will receive the card as a single unit and peel away the overlamination in order to remove the card to reveal the necessary information to make the telephone call.

  • Patent number: 5738383
Abstract: The label assembly with patterned adhesive bands is designed to provide a label which permits the cutting of the labels in a manner which will keep the cutting device free from adhesive or other materials that would foul up and jam the cutting device itself. The label assembly consists of a strip of material upon which the front side is printed upon. The rear side of the strip has an application of adhesive which results in a strip without any adhesive between each label or a pattern of alternating adhesive and non adhesive bands. No back liner is provided. The label assembly is used in creating a label on demand in conjunction with scales for meat, poultry and fish among other items.

  • Patent number: 5721178
Abstract: The label assembly having adhesive on base sheet only is designed to provide a label for use on clothing or fabric material which has no adhesive on the label itself. The front portion of the label has a printed message. The back portion has a silicon coating and can have an additional printed message. The base sheet to which the label or labels are attached thereto has adhesive applied to retain the labels in place for printing and shipping. When the label is removed from the base sheet, there is no adhesive remaining on the label itself. The method of producing the label assembly is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5691437
Abstract: The adhesive label assembly having a specific internal adhesive pattern is designed to provide a label comprising two separate strips, each of which has an external side which contains a pre-determined printed message. The top portion of the assembly is fused together. One of the two internal sides has a specific alternating pattern of adhesive and non adhesive sections. The opposite internal side has no adhesive sections thereon and is silicone coated. A solid adhesive strip is located at one end of the internal side having the adhesive pattern which allows ease of banding together and opening of the two strips. Alternative embodiments of the assembly comprise a label having a fold at the end of the label opposite the fused end which will allow ease of attachment of the assembly. The folded portion has adhesive on its internal side to facilitate sealing.
