    Abstract: The present invention is directed to provide an apparatus and method for forming food into doughnut shape that is capable of forming food into rings with a simple structure. The apparatus includes a supplying unit supplying a food material 2; a discharging unit 3 continuously discharging the supplied food material through a nozzle; a forming unit 4 dividing the food material into rings; a conveyor belt 5 carrying the resulting doughnut-shaped food products; and a support unit 6 supporting the products. The supplying unit 2 supplies an outer food material F and an inner food material G to the discharging unit 3 under pressure. The discharging unit 3 includes an inside forming member 32, around which the inner food material G is intermittently discharged from an annular outlet 34, and the outer food material is continuously discharged to sandwich the inner food material G, resulting in formation of a tubular food material.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a dough processing apparatus capable of not only stably thinning and shaping dough, such as a pizza dough, and so forth, into a thin sheet-like shape, but also coping with dough in a wide variety of shapes with ease. A rounded dough f obtained by portioning out dough to a predetermined quantity is transferred toward under a first beating mechanism, and a second beating mechanism by a belt conveyor. The first beating mechanism, and the second beating mechanism make the vertical movement, alternately, whereupon the dough f is pressed under pressure to be thereby thinned. The dough f after thinned is then transferred by the belt conveyor to be delivered to a dough-shaping apparatus. The dough f is transferred by a belt conveyor to be surrounded by a horizontal die. The dough f as surrounded by the horizontal die is pushed down from above by a rotator provided with a plurality of push-rollers.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for continuously producing a cored food in a bar shape by molding a round outer skin material (2) in a space-saving manner provides a method whereby the outer skin material (2) and an inner material (1) are mounted in this order on a carriage conveyor (3). A belt portion comprises a number of belt pieces (31) arranged in the carriage course of the conveyor (3) so that they are foldable towards said conveyor independently from each other. Both end portions (31a) of each belt piece (31) are raised by a pair of guides (4) so as to bend the outer skin material (2) into a gutter-like shape. The outer skin material (2) bent in this way is further compressed with compression molding members (5) through the belt pieces (31). The inner material (1) surrounded with the outer skin material (2) is continuously produced and forms a cored food (F) in a bar shape.

A cutting mechanism is provided below a nozzle of the extruding mechanism, the cutting mechanism having at least three shutters in which an arc cutter side having chamfer portions on its upper and lower surfaces is formed on the side portion of each shutter. A cutting tip for cutting the bar-shaped food material is formed on the free end portion of each shutter while each shutter is pivotally mounted so that each cutting tip side faces one another.
