  • Patent number: 9875434
Abstract: A method for printing a strip-shaped material to be printed uses a printing unit of a roller printer. Output data for actuating at least one printing machine printing unit component, which determines the shape of printing images, is generated from stored template image data of a complete printing image in order to generate a printed complete printing image. The complete printing image is determined or described in a primary data packet, and the dimensions of the complete image, which dimensions are measured in a template direction, are assigned to the complete printing image in the template image data or the primary data packet. The dimensions of the complete image are compared with a threshold, and if the threshold is exceeded, the complete printing image is divided into a plurality of sections with respect to the template direction, with the plurality of sections being determined or described in a plurality of secondary data packets.

  • Patent number: 9486993
Abstract: Rotational bodies of a printing press with at least a first, a second and a third ink-conducting rotational body, which interact with each other in pairs, can be set in a thrown-on position. The second of the at least three rotational bodies can be set both against the first of the three rotational bodies and against the third of the three rotational bodies in order to form a two-sided thrown-on position. • Patent number: 9242452
Abstract: A printing plate is arranged on a plate cylinder having a channel, in which front and rear clamping devices are located. The rear clamping device forms part of a slide positioned inside the channel and which can move towards the front clamping device. The slide is first moved, together with a rear end of the printing form that is fixed into the rear clamping device, towards the front clamping device. At least one rear spacer is then adjusted to a position relative to the slide that defines a specific distance of the rear clamping device from a second channel wall. A tensioning drive is subsequently deactivated and the slide, together with the rear clamping device, are held in position along the tensioning path by the force exerted by the tensioned printing form, that force pressing the slide against the second channel wall by the rear spacer of the slide.

  • Patent number: 7677455
Abstract: A safety marking and a method for producing a safety marking according to the CIT principle for printed areas are provided. The safety marking is a two-dimensional or three-dimensional image, the image elements of which are coded in a size and arrangement, which cannot be perceived by the human eye and are visible only with the help of optical decoders. A printable safety marking is created according to the CIT principle, which can be implemented at little expense at any place of a material being printed and therefore also in areas that are not rastered. This is accomplished by a coding of the image elements by locally different reflection properties of a lacquer coating formed from at least two different lacquer layers, the coding being independent of the chrominance and tonal value of the printed area.

  • Patent number: 7651560
Abstract: The invention relates to an abhesive layer and to a method for producing an abhesive coating from cross-linked inorganic nanosols. It is an object of the invention to develop an abhesive layer, which has a strong abhesive effect especially with respect to adhesive liquids or pastes, such as printing inks and, while adhering well to the coated materials, has an improved, wear resistance. This objective is accomplished by an abhesive layer or abhesive coating of cross-linked inorganic nanosols with additions of polyorganosiloxanes, which form a three-dimensional network in the layer.
