  • Patent number: 8186649
Abstract: A pipe coupling capable of being safely connected and disconnected. The pipe coupling has a tubular housing (16), a first locking member (18), a pressing member (24), a valve member (30), and a second locking member (50) provided between the valve member (30) and the pressing member (24). When the housing is communicated with a fluid source with the pressing member (24) placed in a standby position (FIGS. 1 to 4), the second locking member is displaced by the valve member, which is displaced toward an open position by fluid pressure. In this process, the second locking member engages with the pressing member (24) before the valve member reaches the open position (FIG. 2), thereby preventing the valve member from reaching the open position and, at the same time, preventing the pressing member from being displaced to a pressing position. When the housing is communicated with the fluid source with the pressing member (24) placed in the pressing position (FIG.

  • Patent number: 8007256
Abstract: An electromagnetic reciprocating fluid device in which a movable member is equipped with permanent magnets, resists a torque rotating the movable member about an axis thereof in the reciprocating direction. The electromagnetic reciprocating fluid device has a pair of electromagnets facing each other, and permanent magnets disposed in a space between the opposed electromagnets and held by a movable member. When an alternating current is applied to coils formed in the electromagnets, a magnetic force is generated between the electromagnets and the permanent magnets, whereby a driving force for reciprocation is applied to the movable member. One end of the movable member is connected to a piston of a first piston-cylinder assembly, while the other end is connected to a piston of a second piston-cylinder assembly.

  • Patent number: 7963751
Abstract: A magnetic armature is attracted and driven by a magnetic force which is intermittently generated between magnetic poles, and a piston reciprocated by being pushed back by a coil spring is not rotated by the coil spring. When the magnetic armature (28) as attracted between the magnetic pole members (10,12) by the magnetic force comes to a predetermined rotational angle position about the axis, the armature receives a rotational torque that is derived from the magnetic force and acts in a direction opposite to that of the rotational torque applied by a coil spring (30), thereby preventing the armature from being rotated in the predetermined direction. More specifically, the armature (28) has a circular cross-section as a whole and has a chamfered part (28?) parallel to the axis. When the chamfered part enters between the magnetic pole members, the armature receives a rotational torque that is derived from the magnetic force.

  • Patent number: 7936142
Abstract: A drilling device prevents recurrence of an overload condition after occurrence of the overload condition, thereby improving operability and safety in the drilling device. A motor for rotating a drill is connected to an AC power source through a motor control unit, a current detector, and a power switch. A magnet is also connected to the AC power source through the power switch and a full-wave rectifier. The motor control unit rotationally drives the motor on the basis of a signal sent from a main control unit according to a state in which a motor start switch is on. The main control unit controls the motor control unit to gradually reduce a supply voltage to the motor when the motor becomes overloaded, to gradually increase the voltage to the normal power supply condition when the overload condition is vanished, and to stop power supply to the motor if the overload condition continues for a predetermined period.
