Abstract: A device for fastening a belt or the like, which comprises a first and a second component member. The first component member comprises a base plate, a pair of upstanding side walls and a cross rod having its opposite ends connected to the top ends of the side walls so that the base plate, the side walls and the cross rod form a frame defining a passage through which the belt or the like is to be passed. A bearing recess is formed in the inner surface of each of the side walls. The second component member comprises a body portion and a fastening portion extending angularly from one end of the body portion. The body portion is provided at the one end with a pair of pintles axially aligned and laterally outwardly projecting in opposite directions from the opposite lateral sides of the body portion and in the upper surface thereof with a bearing groove extending adjacent the one end of the body portion and in parallel with the common axis of the aligned pintles.

Abstract: A device for adjusting the length of a band or the like which comprises a first and a second component member. The first component member comprises an annular body having a passage of substantially rectangular cross section for a portion of the band to be passed through and a bearing slot or recess formed in the bottom wall of the body. The second component member comprises a plate having an upstanding end portion the upper edge of which is preferably serrated and a depending tongue adjacent to the end portion thereof. When the first and second component members are connected, the tongue of the second component member engages the bearing slot or recess of the first component member to securely fasten said portion of the band between the upper edge of the upstanding end portion of the second component member and the inner surface of the top wall of the first component member.

Abstract: A belt holding device formed integrally from a continuous and planar blank material and comprising a peripheral frame portion and at least three projections or tongued portions respectively extending from the peripheral frame portion toward generally a center of a central area defined by the peripheral frame portion, and leaving an opening in generally a center of the central area through which a strip of belt can be threaded in position.

Abstract: A plastic clip comprises an upper and lower clip members each of which is provided with a pair of opposed side walls, each of one pair of side walls being extended gradually outwardly and provided with a bearing portion, each of the other pair of side walls having a journal adapted to be fitted into each of the bearing portions whereby the clip members are pivotally connected with each other, a spring means for urging the clip members into the open position and a closing member adapted to change the clip between the open and closed positions.

Thereby the belt is surely clamped at a desired position thereof for adjusting the length.

Abstract: A clip comprises a lower member including a base plate, at least one bridge and at least one pivot projection, an upper member including a base plate and at least one recessed bearing portion positioned to receive the pivot projection, thereby permitting pivotal connection of the upper and lower members, and a slide member including at least one slide plate and at least one crossplate having an upper surface capable of slidably engaging with the underside of an elongated portion of the bridge. Either one or both of the upper and lower members are selectively reduced in thickness toward its rear edge so as to obtain a desired angle of opening of the clip.
