Patent number: 7891006Abstract: On embedding electronic watermark data in point group data obtained from a three-dimensional measurement, an x-y plane region defining the point group data is divided into a plurality of small regions so that a point group is produced with respect to each of small regions. The coordinate values of each point group are offset with making a barycenter of the point group be an origin point. A discrete Fourier transform is carried out in order to produce a Fourier coefficient sequence, which is modified into a watermarked Fourier coefficient sequence. The inverse discrete Fourier transform is carried out on the watermarked coefficient sequence in order to produce a watermarked complex number sequence. An optimum watermark embedding strength is calculated. On the basis of the embedding strength, the Fourier coefficient sequence is modified to produce a watermarked Fourier coefficient sequence which is inversely offset into the watermarked point group data.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 2008Date of Patent: February 15, 2011Assignee: Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Satoshi Kanai, Tatsuhide Nakane, Naoko Kurisaki, Ikuhiro Kitamura

Patent number: 7848593Abstract: In the method of obtaining captures images, there is overlaps in images in the flight direction and in a direction (cross direction) that crosses the flight direction. A predetermined number of the captured images containing overlapping sections that include a target point are selected out of the obtained images in the flight direction and/or the cross direction. From the overlap sections of these captured images, selected images are obtained by selecting image sections within a specific range that contains the target point. Using the flight direction and the cross direction as axes for a matrix, the selected images are arranged to create an aerial photograph data set.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2006Date of Patent: December 7, 2010Assignee: Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shunji Murai, Yoichi Oyama, Yoshihiko Minami, Yukio Akamatsu, Hiroshi Takeda

Patent number: 7451060Abstract: A method of producing aerial photograph data is provided which is capable of positively utilizing stored photograph data and an image of a desired object included in a photographed image. The method includes a step of determining a distance between a position of a virtual photographic principal point (virtual photographic principal point position) obtained by the use of spatial position information of a target point and spatial direction of a view vector and a position of an actual photographic principal point (actual photographic principal point position) of each of a plurality of aerial photographs to automatically select a specific aerial photograph, and a step of extracting, from the specific aerial photograph, a selected image having the target point arranged at a predetermined position therein.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2006Date of Patent: November 11, 2008Assignee: Kokusai Kogyo Co., LtdInventors: Yoshihiko Minami, Yukio Akamatsu, Hiroshi Takeda

Patent number: 4700223Abstract: The invention provides a vehicle for evaluating the properties of road surfaces wherein a road surface cross-section profile evaluating means, a crack-evaluating means, and a road surface longitudinal profile evaluating means are mounted on a predetermined vehicle. The measuring intervals of the respective means can be controlled in accordance with a signal from a single speedometer/range finder. Three kinds of road surface property values which are matched with each other can be obtained. Even if the evaluation system (evaluation vehicle) and the object system (road surface) have a relative speed, the road surface property values can be accurately determined irrespective of the relative speed. Therefore, accurate and reliable evaluation data can be obtained, and the vehicle can cope with high speed and heavy traffic.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 1986Date of Patent: October 13, 1987Assignee: Kokusai Kogyo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kato Shoutaro, Nakane Tatsuhide, Ogiwara Tetsuo
