Abstract: Clips for securing one or more accessories to a play yard or crib and methods of operating the same are disclosed. A disclosed example includes a first engagement member, a second engagement member, and a first joining member joining the first and second engagement members. The first and second engagement members are joined in a spaced apart relation such that a distance between the first and second engagement members is less than a diameter of the rail.
Abstract: Play gyms and methods of operating the same are disclosed. A disclosed example includes a floor mat dimensioned to be positioned within a play yard and/or a bassinet. It also includes a play gym to suspend an object above the mat when the mat is positioned in the play yard and/or the bassinet, and at least one connector to couple the play gym to the mat when the mat is removed from the play gym and/or the bassinet.
Abstract: A child walker is provided that includes a frame having a plurality of wheels. The walker includes a handle that is positionable in a first position and a second position. A seat is attached to the frame when the handle is in the first position. When the handle is in the second position, it is positioned to be gripped by a standing child.

Using a uni-directional hinge in the floor of the bassinet, and a plurality of over-center locks, the floor of the bassinet can be locked into the horizontal position easily and effectively, without any structure provided directly below the center of the bassinet floor.

Abstract: A stroller assembly may include a frame with first and second spaced members. First and second seats may be attached to the frame. The second seat may have a seat base and a seat back, the first and second spaced members disposed opposite each other across seat base. The stroller assembly may also include at least one member disposed opposite the seat back in at least first and second positions. The seat base, seat back, spaced members and the at least one member may define at least two recesses, the first recess defined with the at least one member in the first position to accept a first infant transporter and the second recess defined with at least one member in the second position to accept a second infant transporter different than the first infant transporter.
Abstract: A mattress has an internal support structure and an external cladding that surrounds and covers at least a portion of the support structure. The mattress also has a vibrating device that is coupled to a part of the support structure. The vibrating device has a motor that operates to transmit vibrations throughout the support structure when turned on. The mattress can be adapted to gradually slow at a controlled rate to a complete stop over a period of time when turned off. The mattress can also be adapted to include the vibrating device internally where the device is water resistant. The mattress can also be adapted such that the vibrating device can be easily removed and installed from a pocket provided in the mattress.

Abstract: A walker for a toddler or infant is disclosed. The walker has a base and a seat operatively coupled to the base. It also includes a plurality of rollers for supporting the base on a walking surface such as a floor. The walker also includes a brake which is positioned to constantly apply friction to at least one of the rollers to thereby inhibit the travel speed of the walker.
Abstract: A portable collapsible bassinet for suspension in a play yard is disclosed. The bassinet includes floor support bars disposed within fabric tunnels in the floor of the bassinet. The support bars each comprise at least two portions that are secured together by a spring element. The floor support bars provide even support for infants disposed in the bassinet. When not in use, the portions of the floor support bars can be disengaged to allow the bassinet to be folded into a compact position. The support bars and other components remain secured to the bassinet when erected and/or collapsed to eliminate the possibility of lost parts.
Abstract: A play yard having a foldable lower frame with a locking joint is disclosed. The locking joint includes a latch that prevents the lower frame section containing the joint from folding unless the latch is intentionally released. The latch is biased into the latch position, but can be intentionally released when the play yard is erected or partially erected to complete folding of the play yard. The latch can be released when the play yard is fully erected or partially folded.
