  • Publication number: 20080146329
Abstract: The movement information processing system of the present invention includes a screen 5 which displays via a projector 6 guide images GG which induces stepping movements of the feet of players on mats 30 and mats for players where each of the mats 30 detects the stepping position and the stepping movement of each player with respect to the guide images GG. The detected results are evaluated by an evaluation means 116, 120 via a communication section 16 and the evaluation results are displayed on the screen with an image presentation processing control section 112. The system provides exercise guide images that induce players a variety of movements in a highly recognizable manner regardless of the number of players.

  • Publication number: 20070224582
Abstract: The present invention discloses a training apparatus that will correct the movement of a trainee, and maintain the movement of the trainee in a way that provides a strong exercise effect. The position of a moving unit, which is moved by the trainee, is detected, and this detected position is compared with a reference position of the moving unit. If the difference between a reference position and the detected position exceeds a permissible range, then it is determined to be a deviation, which is reported to the trainee by, for example, a voice message, an image, or a character message. For example, voice data or character data is generated in order to output a message such as “work harder,” “too fast,” or “too slow.” Image data that indicates the deviation between the reference position and the detected position may also be generated.

  • Publication number: 20070219051
Abstract: A training apparatus is disclosed that will enable a trainee to exercise with a load that is suited to his or her physical build in the forward path and return path of a repetitive exercise. A motor applies a load to a bar (corresponds to a moving unit) that moves repetitively due to a trainee's exercise. The load that is applied by the motor is not fixed, but rather varies during the repetitive exercise. The width of the repetitive exercise, i.e., the width of the range of motion of the bar, takes into account differences in the physique of individual trainees. Consequently, varying the method by which the load changes in accordance with the width of the range of motion makes it possible to apply a load that is suited to the physique of each individual trainee, thereby enabling each trainee to exercise effectively.

  • Publication number: 20070184952
Abstract: Disclosed is a training apparatus, which comprises a seat unit 30 including a seat 35 allowing a user M to sit thereon, a foot plate 42 adapted to allow the user M sitting on the seat 35 to keep his/her feet bottoms in contact therewith, a displacement mechanism unit 38 adapted to apply to the user M a load against a straining force generated when the user M sitting on the seat 35 while keeping the feet bottoms in contact with the foot plate 42 strains his/her legs, and a base board 20 mounting thereon the above components. The foot plate 42 is adapted to be changed in posture between a horizontal posture T1 where it protrudes approximately horizontally and outwardly from a pair of footrest frames 41 mounted on the base board 20, and a vertical posture T2 where it protrudes approximately vertically and upward from the footrest frames 41 at approximately the same height level as a that of the seat 35.
