Abstract: The invention is an apparatus and method for producing an electronic component comprising at least one active organic layer. The invention discloses for the first time how an organic component can be produced in a process designed entirely as a roll-to-roll process. The advantage of the continuous production method described here is, further, that the active regions of the active semiconductor layer are not exposed to unprotected solvents and/or solvent vapors at any time during the production process. This makes it possible to produce a high-quality organic component.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the inventive concept provides for a process for depositing a substance on a nanostructured surface, particularly for organic components, to yield a substantially consistent and homogeneous coating on the nanostructured surface. The substance to be applied is dissolved in a solvent. The coating for the nanostructured surface is then produced by depositing the first dissolved substance on the nanostructured surface.

Abstract: A method for the production of organic solar cells or photodetectors, particularly based on organic polymers, comprising the following steps:—a first organic n- or p-conductive semiconductor layer is applied to an electrode, to the solid first organic semiconductor layer is applied a second organic semiconductor layer of the respective other conductivity whose solvent partially dissolves the first organic semiconductor layer, such that the first semiconductor layer mixes with the second mixed layer;—a second electrode is applied opposite the first.
