Abstract: A cuvette package for loading multicell cuvettes from a package into measurement instruments having their cuvette loading accessories designed to accept known packages. On top of a row of multicell cuvettes is attached a detachable bonding strip having a width smaller than that of the width of the row of multicell cuvettes. The bonding strip serving to keep the row of cuvettes together during transport and being easily detachable when the cuvettes are being loaded into the instrument. The multicell cuvettes are loaded into the instrument from the dispensing device which supports the cuvette package in place and has its top surface provided with an opening permitting the removal of the strip by pulling off from the supported multicell cuvette package.
Abstract: The invention relates to a frame for the storage of reagent vessels (4) and to a reagent vessel. The frame has a bottom part and a substantially circular rim, and the reagent vessels can be so stored in the frame that they extend to the rim (3) of the frame. The frame is provided with substantially radial partitions (6) for holding the vessels (4) in place. According to the invention, the partitions (6) are provided with auxiliary protrusions (10) placed so that the distance of the auxiliary protrusions from the rim (3) is substantially equal to the distance between two adjacent partitions (6) at the rim and that the distance between two auxiliary protrusions (10) on adjacent partitions (6) is shorter than the distance of the auxiliary protrusions (10) from the rim (3). The side walls of the reagent vessel (4) of the invention are provided with vertical recesses.

Abstract: The invention relates to an ion-selective electrode and to a procedure for producing the electrode. The electrode is a single-piece all-solid-state electrode comprising a conducting or semiconducting solid substrate (6) coated with a composite membrane (4). The electrode is produced by dissolving a conjugated polymer or oligomer together with the components of a conventional ion-selective membrane to produce a solution, applying this solution to an electronically conducting or semiconducting substrate and allowing the solvent to evaporate, with the result that a composite membrane is formed on the substrate.
