    Abstract: A multi-style brewing device can be configured to brew French press, automatic drip and pour-over style coffee. An adjustable inflow control valve regulates the rate at which water enters the brew vessel. An adjustable outflow control valve regulates the rate at which liquid exits the brew vessel. The control valves can be used to control both the contact time between the water and the grounds, and the average volumetric ratio of water to grounds during contact, thereby reproducing various different brewing styles.
