Abstract: A radiographic imaging apparatus includes: a radiographic imager that performs imaging; a built-in power storage device that supplies electric power to the imager, an attachment portion to which an external power storage device that supplies electric power to the imager is to be detachably attached; a connector that is electrically connectable to an external apparatus; and a hardware processor that, in a case where the processor is connected to the external apparatus by the connector and the imager is performing imaging, performs control to supply electric power supplied from the external apparatus to the imager, and in a case where the processor is connected to the external apparatus by the connector and the imager is not performing imaging, performs control to supply the electric power supplied from the external apparatus to the built-in power storage device or the external power storage device attached to the attachment portion.

The image forming system includes: a driver to drive an operation mechanism to convey a recording medium or an operation mechanism to form an image on the recording medium; a detector that detects a driving state of the driver; a diagnostic section diagnosing an abnormality of the operation mechanism based on a load obtained by converting a detection result by the detector based on a predetermined conversion condition; and an updater that, when at least one of components of the driver is replaced, updates the conversion condition in accordance with the replaced component.

Abstract: An inkjet head driving method includes applying a voltage signal having a combined drive waveform that includes unit drive waveforms to a pressure generator and causing a nozzle to jet ink droplets such that the droplets land on a medium as one droplet. Each unit drive waveform includes a first pulse waveform for jetting a droplet and a second pulse waveform for pulling back the jetted droplet. The first and second pulse waveforms each include an expansion part for expanding a pressure chamber and a following contraction part for contracting the chamber. The combined drive waveform includes a first unit drive waveform and a following second unit drive waveform. A voltage amplitude of the contraction part of the second pulse waveform in the second unit waveform is greater than that of the contraction part of the second pulse waveform in the first unit drive waveform.

Abstract: A task of insertion of a tool is continued even when the insertion of the tool is failed in a shrink fitting method. A shrink fitting system for shrink-fitting a tool to a holder includes: a heating device that heats the holder; an insertion device that inserts the tool into the heated holder; and a control device for the shrink fitting system. The insertion device includes a sensor that detects a failure of insertion of the tool into the holder. Based on the failure of the insertion of the tool into the holder being detected, the control device performs at least one of outputting, to the insertion device, a command for adjusting an insertion position of the tool or for replacing the tool and outputting, to the heating device, a command for re-heating the holder.
