Abstract: This invention relates to a method and computer system for automatic generation of trailers. More specifically it relates to a method for generating revenues from providers of content data. The method generally comprises the steps of finding product placement data in a super set of data. When these product placements have been found they are preferably matched with a user profile and segments, of the superset comprising these product placements with a positive match, are selected and merged into a subset of data. A counter may keep track of which product placement that has been chosen and how many times a product placement has been chosen and viewed. Based on the value of the counter an invoice is created.

  • Publication number: 20080219384
Abstract: Wireless communication systems according to 3rd Generation standards allow for large flexibility in payload transmission. To signal the specific combination of transport block sizes multiplexed into one composite transport channel, a transport format combination indicator is transmitted in addition to the encoded payload data. The correct decoding of this transport format combination indicator codeword information is crucial to retrieve the correct number and size of transport blocks from the incoming data stream in the receiver, which can be both, the user equipment or the base station. The decoding apparatus (1) of the invention allows an in-time processing of the incoming data, while the decoding performance for the next codeword information is increased. Therefore, a codeword decision unit (15) determines a first codeword decision on the basis of a first codeword information received. This first codeword decision is usable for the processing of the first payload data.

Abstract: A diagnostic imaging system (10) images overlapping cyclically moving and stationary regions of a subject. A low resolution reconstruction processor (50) reconstructs acquired data into a series of consecutive low resolution volumetric image representations. A motion region determining processor (70) determines a boundary of the moving region from the consecutive low resolution volumetric image representations. A high resolution reconstruction processor (60) reconstructs the acquired data into a high resolution volumetric image representation. A stationary region removing processor (84) removes stationary region image data from the high resolution volumetric image representation, which stationary region image data lies exterior to the moving region boundary. A display (86) displays the high resolution volumetric image representation.

Abstract: A three-dimensional visualization technique for easily identifying common morphological landmarks in volume rendered ultrasound perfusion images. The technique includes processing acoustic data received by an ultrasound imaging system (100) according to at least two different signal processing methods. One of these methods is perfusion-specific, while another of these methods is tissue-specific. Each of these methods provides separately processed volume images. A volume rendering step (14, 16) assigns different volume rendering characteristics to each of the volume images according to whether the volume images are based on perfusion- or tissue-specific acoustic data. The at least two volume images can also be differentiated in the volume rendering step by assigning each volume image a specific color. The volume images are finally combined (18) and displayed (20).

  • Publication number: 20080219392
Abstract: A communication system includes a communication channel (110) for time-synchronous transfer of data symbols a1, . . . , aN to a receiver (130). A sampling unit (132) is used for time-sequential sampling the channel under control of a sampling clock signal that is synchronous with transmittal of the data symbols. The detector includes a data-dependent noise predictor (310) for generating a predicted noise sequence ñ1, . . . , ñN where each predicted noise value nk for the k-th sample of the sequence depends on a cluster of a plurality of sampled data symbols and a noise whitening unit (320) for whitening of noise in the sample sequence by removing the predicted noise value ñk. The detector is arranged to provide a signal for correcting the sampling clock signal in dependence on the whitened sample sequence.

  • Patent number: 7423955
Abstract: A method of recording information stores lead-out information on a multilayer record carrier of an opposite track path type. A two part recording area across two layers is logically interrupted by an intermediate zone. The recording area is preceded by a lead-in zone located at the start of the first recording layer and followed by a lead-out zone located at the end of the second recording layer. An outer lead-out part and an inner lead-out part are recorded separated by an unrecorded area and together constituting the lead-out information on the second recording layer. The inner lead-out part covers a predefined radial position range corresponding to a range of radial positions used by reading devices for accessing the second recording layer during a disc loading procedure. The outer lead-out part is recorded at the end of an area of the second recording layer containing user information.
