Patent number: 10528704Abstract: To ensure that digital rights cannot be forged or tampered with, they can be digitally signed. However, this means that updating the digital rights is no longer possible, as this would invalidate the digital signature. The present invention proposes that the issuer of digital rights issues rights which are signed in elementary pieces, rather than as a whole. Rather than issuing a right to play back a piece of content three times, the provider issues for example three rights to play back the content once in a particular AD, of which two may be transferred to other domains. The digital rights are individually protected by signatures and it is no longer possible to forge digital rights. As an enhancement the rights that can be transferred are indicated as such and stored securely to prevent tampering. When the right is transferred, it must be signed by the person who originally received it.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 2003Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: Koninklijke Philips N.V.Inventors: Franciscus Lucas Antonius Johannes Kamperman, Geert Jan Schrijen, Sebastiaan Antonius Fransiscus Arnoldus Van Den Heuvel

Patent number: 10524741Abstract: The present invention relates to a device 10 for automatically identifying a part 20a, 20b of an anatomy structure comprising several parts 20a, 20b, in which anatomy structure an intervention device 21 resides. The device 10 comprises a feature extraction unit 11 and an anatomy part classification unit 13. The feature extraction unit 11 uses provided image content data ICD to extract at least one characterizing feature DS of the appearance of 10 the intervention device 21. The anatomy part classification unit 13 correlates the at least one characterizing feature DS with provided classifier data CD which are characteristic for a projection feature of the intervention device 21 viewed under certain geometry of an imaging system 30. After correlating, the anatomy part classification unit 13 determines in which part 20a, 20b of the anatomy structure comprising several parts 20a, 20b the intervention device 2115 is located.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2011Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS N.V.Inventors: Raoul Florent, Willem Frederik Den Hartog, Vincent Maurice Andre Auvray

Patent number: 10524890Abstract: The power toothbrush includes a handle portion which includes a power drive assembly and a brushhead assembly (32) which includes a brushhead arm (36) and a brush element (38) at a distal end thereof. A V-spring assembly (14) converts the action of the power drive assembly to drive the brushhead assembly in a back-and-forth action. A mounting member (55) at the rear end of the V-spring assembly provides a base for a magnet (56). The V-spring assembly and the brushhead assembly comprises a unit which moves about a pivot point at the forward end of the V-spring assembly, so that the back end of the V-spring assembly is displaced in accordance with pressure applied to the brush member. A Hall effect sensor (58) is mounted within the changing magnetic field produced by the magnet as the rear end of the V-spring assembly is displaced due to pressure on the brushhead.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2013Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS N.V.Inventor: Kevin Arnold Miller
