  • Patent number: 11976985
Abstract: The invention relates to a marker device and a tracking system for tracking the marker device, wherein the marker device comprises a rotationally oscillatable magnetic object and wherein the rotational oscillation is excitable by an external magnetic field, i.e. a magnetic field which is generated by a magnetic field providing unit 20, 31 that is located outside of the marker device. The rotational oscillation of the magnetic object induces a current in coils, wherein based on these induced currents the position and optionally also the orientation of the marker device is determined. This wireless kind of tracking can be carried out with relatively small marker devices, which can be placed, for instance, in a guidewire, the marker devices can be read out over a relatively large distance and it is possible to use a single marker device for six degrees of freedom localization.

  • Patent number: 11978136
Abstract: The invention provides for a medical imaging system (100, 400) comprising a memory (110) storing machine executable instructions (120) and a configured artificial neural network (122). The medical imaging system further comprises a processor (104) configured for controlling the medical imaging system. Execution of the machine executable instructions causes the processor to receive (200) magnetic resonance imaging data (124), wherein the magnetic resonance imaging data is BOLD functional magnetic resonance imaging data descriptive of a time dependent BOLD signal (1100) for each of a set of voxels. Execution of the machine executable instructions further causes the processor to construct (202) a set of initial signals (126) by reconstructing the time dependent BOLD signal for each of the set of voxels using the magnetic resonance imaging data.

  • Patent number: 11974351
Abstract: A device (110) arranged for wireless communication (130) according to a communication protocol has a processor (112) to execute a connection sequence according to a discovery protocol. The connection sequence comprises determining a current cluster identity and a current discovery window timing used by the device. Next, at least one other device (120,120?) within wireless range is detected, while further determining a detected cluster identity and a detected discovery window timing of the detected other device. Then it is detected whether the detected device is operating in a different cluster than the device by comparing the current cluster identity with the detected cluster identity or comparing the current discovery window timing with the detected discovery window timing. Finally, upon detecting said different cluster, a security process is executed, which may warn the user or abort the connection sequence. Thereby, a malicious device trying to manipulate the connection sequence is detected.

  • Patent number: 11967421
Abstract: In a monitoring method for generating maintenance alerts, component IDs are extracted which identify medical imaging device components in electronic medical imaging device manuals (25, 26, 27, 28). Operating parameters of the medical imaging device components and associated operating parameter ranges are also extracted from the manuals, based on numeric values, parameter terms identifying operating parameters, and linking terms or symbols indicative of equality or inequality that connect the numeric values and parameter terms. The operating parameter ranges are formulated into decision rules (36) which are applied to log data (40) generated by a monitored medical imaging device (2) to detect out-of-range log data generated by the monitored medical imaging device. Maintenance alerts (24) are displayed on a display (18) in response to the detected out-of-range log data. The maintenance alerts are generated from out-of-range log data and are associated with component IDs contained in the out-of-range log data.
